Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.43/day in the week to Aug 14 → 3.86/day in the week after.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

this game is realy good for players that have played the yakuza games.
I love
Hands down, Judgement, Lost Judgement and the Kaito Files are some of the best, and more story filled, riveting games I have ever played... I wish there were more in this series! But a must try!
definitely buy ts and judgment on hod
Nice game only draw backs i think are the stealth missions and tailing missions, i think they can use some work but the stealth music is so peak As for the kaito files, its fine but short and no new game plus for that i don't think its worth 30 bucks itself get it on sale 6/10
史
I've had this game for quite a few years but never reviewed it. Why? I couldn't force myself to finish the game the first time. Managed to push through it this time but the experience has not changed. Don't get me wrong, the world building, some (not all) of the side quests are enjoyable, even the high school content is funny. But the main plot and writing is -TERRIBLE-. Yagami is a joke of his original self, barely even a detective at best, and at worst, a broken record who stumbles into solutions via plot contrivance. 90% of the time he gets his answers through harassment when logically the NPCs have ABSOLUTELY NO REASON to give him any answers. The Criminal has no reason to answer his questions and the 'villain' twist is idiotic. I love the idea of grey morality, and that the justice system failing so people take things in their own hands, but the writer pulls it off really badly, making the game a slog to get through. A teacher who is introduced in the game as "righteous" and someone who "won't let them cover up their crime" turns out to be a liar, a hypocrite who is actually PART of the problem, and someone who actively hides information which leads to the stupidest and most unearned plot twist in a game yet. Yet the game writing tries to paint her as some gentle, wonderful good hearted person when she isn't and only plays into and enables the victim mentality. Yagami is constantly working alone with excuses of why he has to be the one to do everything that just doesn't work realistically or logically. Genuinely it feels like the writer loves Yagami so much that he will HAMMER in that Yagami is Always Right(tm) even/especially when he isn't whether you like it or not. It's shocking that he created Judgment, which is still superior to Lost Judgment. At the time of this writing I still haven't finished the game, though I'm over half done, and I don't have high hopes that the writing will get any better or make any sense. HOWEVER I would STILL recommend the game ..with Warnings ... only because the combat is tons of fun, the side missions are enjoyable and even though they massacred the personality and motivations of Yagami and his crew (Kaito, Sugiura and Tsukumo) it's still nice to see them in action ... when they aren't being stupid in the main plot. The game would have been much better if they hadn't leaned so hard into the Bullying plot and instead had Yagami and the "villain" team up against the person I would say was the ACTUAL villain, and then have them go their separate ways at the end. I can hope for a Remaster a few years down the line to fix the terrible writing and plot (obviously with a different Yagami model, or perhaps they'll actually make better use of Sugiura and Tsukumo instead) but that would require effort and better writing. Plot: 0/10 Music: 6/10 Game Mechanics: 10/10 Side Missions: 8/10 Replayability: 4/10 No Karaoke:
