Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.43/day in the week to Aug 14 → 3.86/day in the week after.

An improvement over the first game. Fun, serious, bunch of side content, great voice acting (japanese, of course)

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A burning pile of garbage.
good ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game
I mean, it is as good as it gets. These guys just know how to do games.
Games from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio are as brilliant as they are frustrating, which is why it is hard for me to simply recommend them—or not. However, of all the studio's games I have played, this one is probably my favorite. "Lost Judgment" continues the adventures of detective and former lawyer Takayuki Yagami —first introduced in the 2018 game "Judgment", a spin-off of the "Yakuza / Like a Dragon" series*— that marked the studio’s foray into the investigative genre. Directed by Yutaka Ito (who would go on to direct the DLC and 2024’s "Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth"), this sequel maintains the production values of the original while introducing a new district and slightly reworking the gameplay. While the first game’s investigation was heavily scripted and linear, this installment expands it with mini-games —such as tracking, tailing, and clue-gathering— though these unfortunately are simplistic and dated. While the game wins you over with its epic, profound story (tackling the issue of school bullying), memorable characters, pervasive humor, high production values, and sheer wealth of content (side activities are not mere filler, and the game offers impressive longevity), it is hard to ignore the shaky gameplay. The experience swings between intense action sequences —with a combat system enhanced by an additional style that makes it truly excellent— and the interminable cutscenes and dialogues (a RGG studio trademark) that force you to passively follow the plot... RGG is not a specialist in investigative games. Had this title been the result of a synergy between the studio’s expertise in action and open-world games and that of a developer well-versed in the genre —such as Frogwares for example— the outcome could have been the greatest game of all time. As it stands, I would say it is worth playing if you are a fan of the studio, enjoy action games (interspersed with 20-minute cutscenes...), or have an interest in Japanese culture. However, it is not recommended if you prefer challenging adventure or mystery games. * even though its director —iconic SEGA figure and head of RGG Studio, Toshihiro Nagoshi— claimed otherwise. Nevertheless, "Lost Judgment" shares with the studio’s then most recent release, "Yakuza: Like a Dragon" (2020), the Dragon Engine and the same open-world setting .
