Greetings Enforcer, and thank you for enlisting in the Hypnospace Patrol Department! As the corporatocracy sleeps, outlaws are out there committing terrible transgressions all across our beloved Hypnospace, and these virtual streets aren't going to police themselves!
Hypnospace Outlaw is a '90s internet simulator in which you scour Hypnospace's wide variety of weird and wonderful websites to hunt down wrongdoers, while also keeping an eye on your inbox, avoiding viruses and adware, and downloading a plethora of apps that may or may not be useful.
As part of your job as a Hypnospace Enforcer, you'll be watching out for copyright infringement, internet bullying and more, with reports and rewards coming direct from the Hypnospace Patrol Department to your inbox. In your spare time, you can customize your HypnOS desktop however you see fit, with a variety of downloads, wallpapers, screen savers and helper bots to keep you company.

2/5 Provato per un'oretta, ma non ho resistito di più. Si tratta di un simulatore di moderatore di contenuti in un internet di fine anni '90. Navigando tra numerose pagine degli utenti pieni di scritte colorate e musiche in pieno stile di quegli anni bisognerà insomma andare a trovare infrazioni di copyright, materiale illegale o pericoloso. Da un lato è sicuramente qualcosa di diverso dal solito, dall'altro è un vero e proprio lavoro invece che un passatempo per chi ci gioca. Inoltre chi non ha vissuto quegli anni penso possa ancora di meno apprezzare lo stile pacchiano invece di avere l'effetto nostalgia. Non è un gioco brutto di per sé, semplicemente non è proprio il mio genere e qualcosa che posso consigliare.
Já tava pra jogar esse jogo desde o lançamento, fui pressionado pelo vídeo do Gemaplys. As piadas e a vibe desse jogo é impecável, tem definitivamente algo de meio raw nele, de um jeito bom meio windows xp p/ windows vista das ideias. É estranho o quanto tu consegue se conectar com um personagem só olhando as páginas deles

This game builds such a wonderful world. Love it.
De 5 estrelas eu daria 3 ou 3,5. Nó início fiquei meio perdido porque não tava familiarizado com o jogo, mais pro meio já tava mais tranquilo, mas nas duas últimas missões/casos acho que não conseguiria passar sem ajuda de um guia. O jogo tem muitas páginas pra explorar, muitas muito interessantes, assuntos, interações, músicas, coisas "secretas", que deixa tudo bem mais imersivo. Mas acho que também acaba ficando meio cansativo e confuso pra alguém que quer completar os objetivos e a história principal, ainda mais tudo estando escrito em inglês. Joguei porque fiquei instigado quando comecei a ver um vídeo do Gemaplys, que sugeriu jogar antes de assistir a review dele (o vídeo só fala da primeira parte do jogo), e também pq curto essa estética de software antigo. Pra mim, se não fosse um labirinto de páginas a experiência teria sido melhor, mas entendo que a imersão é prejudicada sem isso.
If you're intrigued by the premise of this game, you will enjoy it. Wonderful experience, although I got stuck a couple times on some of the puzzle hunting.
This game transports you back to the late 90's and early 2000's, when Angelfire and Geocities websites reigned supreme. Gameplay is basically desktop and browser focused; you'll be navigating, lurking and sleuthing websites in search for people breaking the rules in this world. Some fun twists and turns. I actually think it's worth every penny.
This game definitely takes point-and-click to a whole new level. Don't let the 90's aesthetics distract you -- this is a whole blown puzzle presented to you while you figure out solutions from reading in between the lines and deducing from a variety of evidence presented to you in the Hypnospace. Not only are you moderating content... you are also navigating through something that's much darker beneath the surface. I'd very much recommend this game if you play Cruelty Squad, are a puzzle or a nostalgic aesthetics lover.
