Greetings Enforcer, and thank you for enlisting in the Hypnospace Patrol Department! As the corporatocracy sleeps, outlaws are out there committing terrible transgressions all across our beloved Hypnospace, and these virtual streets aren't going to police themselves!
Hypnospace Outlaw is a '90s internet simulator in which you scour Hypnospace's wide variety of weird and wonderful websites to hunt down wrongdoers, while also keeping an eye on your inbox, avoiding viruses and adware, and downloading a plethora of apps that may or may not be useful.
As part of your job as a Hypnospace Enforcer, you'll be watching out for copyright infringement, internet bullying and more, with reports and rewards coming direct from the Hypnospace Patrol Department to your inbox. In your spare time, you can customize your HypnOS desktop however you see fit, with a variety of downloads, wallpapers, screen savers and helper bots to keep you company.

Crawl through Cyberspace: Scour the darkest corners of the Web for scumbag users who violate Hypnospace law!

Funny. Accurate. I was hooked because I read everything I could. Puzzles are not too difficult but respect your intelligence. Kinda thought there'd be more to it, but what I got was great still.
Damn I really tried to get into this game, it ain't for me though. Loved the idea, I got bored.

Esse jogo simula de forma precisa e estranha, num universo alternativo/paralelo do nosso, como era a internet no final dos anos 90 e começo dos anos 2000, só que de uma forma mais amigável e menos asquerosa em comparação com a NOSSA realidade. Você consegue baixar imagens, músicas, fazer microtransações, pegar vírus e stalkear a vida de todo mundo pra fazer melhor seu serviço de "cyber-patrulha". Realmente um jogo único que definitivamente vale cada centavo. Me deixa muito triste que o Dreamsettler foi cancelado (continuação do primeiro/desse jogo) mas fazer o quê, o relâmpago nunca cai no mesmo lugar duas vezes. SUPER RECOMENDO

great game, you just browse these fake vibey websites with banging music that with time and exposure really grew on me, simple game and ill be honest sometimes it frustrated me and the font gives me headaches but its a unique good time, its sad shortly before i beat it the spiritual successor the devs were making was scrapped and its so sad it was centered in 2000s a time i can relate and it had fake flash games, so sad really it would have probably easily resonated more then this game
I wasn't present in the pre 2000s internet but I can feel the nostalgia the devs had for that time period and the dread about tech companies encroaching on it. The gameplay is a bit soul crushing at the start because you're essentially a forum moderator, a fate worse than death, and by the end it gets a bit obtuse in what you have to look for. Glad I played it anyway.

Hypnospace outlaw is AWESOME! it's honestly just so fun to explore all of the different pages that the game has to offer. The world building is done extremely well, even though you never actually see any of the characters (other than in pictures), their personalities are absolutely present. The game has some pretty difficult puzzles but they are SO satisfying to solve. It's the kind of game that really has nothing else like it, I reccomend going in knowing nothing.
