Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.

About
Hell is Us is a 3rd-person action-adventure game that combines intense melee combat with the thrill of exploration. Explore a semi-open world to find answers to your questions and face mysterious creatures all along your journey.
As well as the civil war dividing the country, the region is suffering from a mysterious calamity, which has given rise to supernatural creatures that no modern weapon can defeat. Your drone and sword from a different age are your faithful allies as you cut a path through lands infested with terrifying chimeras and try to unravel the mystery of their appearance.
No map, no compass, no quest markers: following your instincts is part of the adventure. Enjoy a unique experience that uses innovative writing and level design to let you make your own decisions and follow your instincts as you explore. Your discoveries are yours alone.
Swords, spears and axes: a wide range of weapons forged specially for fighting these supernatural creatures is available. You will need to learn how to fight these monsters and use your drone wisely to stay alive.
''The central theme of Hell is Us is that human violence is a perpetual cycle fueled by human emotions and passions.'' – Jonathan Jacques-Belletête, Creative Director

Reviews
Damn, I'm really indifferent after finishing the game. 90% of the experience was great. I really enjoyed the intrigue, mysteries, world building, combat and exploration. All top notch, engrossing and I no-lifed the game so I could see it through. I did as much as I could without following any guides. I did fail quite a few quests and didn't complete everything. Doing everything this game has to offer probably takes 35 to 40 hours and some of it is difficult without a guide. There are many ways to fail quests and there are a LOT of hidden areas and items to find that unlock other locations and aspects towards completion. I won't go too much in depth on what the game is. I will just say the ending left me a little dissatisfied with the outcome. After so much build up, the climax felt rushed and abrupt and I feel like the developers probably had plans to flesh this out or maybe even provide more than one ending but either just didn't have the budget and released it as is, or maybe the game is just that cryptic and the community hasn't seen all there is to see yet? I mean we're almost coming up to a year after release, no sign of DLC or further support, and I doubt the community missed ways to see a true ending. I'm just baffled. I still recommend the game, especially on this current sale. The journey was fun, incredible at times, but the overall conclusion was disappointing. I do feel like there is some moderate replayability to this as well, which is always a good thing.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game is basically Dark Souls meets Resident Evil with a Stranger Things vibe.
Great game! Reminded me more of Control and Remnant than any Soulslike I've played, but that has more to do with the atmposhere and sense of discovery than with the gameplay. I love that you can adjust how strong your enemies are, so you can get exactly the challenge you want! Main puzzles are all very doable. I wouldn't say easy but I could figuring everything out on my own. Reminded me of Resident Evil puzzles mostly. Side quests are a different thing, you'd have to be very invested in everything you read and quite sharp to figure out what belongs with what. In any case I loved this game and hate that it hasn't been a big hit.
(EDIT) - To be honest, I enjoyed the game a lot - I am still currently completing what I can - effed up a bit as I wanted to check if I can save an NPC - but it was set for him to die - ended up killing an NPC that was important - so guess another playthrough. Would probably recommend to the devs to make auto-saves and manual saves as a separate function. The game itself is fun, engaging, and has a lot of content. The combat is fun as well, and I definitely recommend it, for anyone that enjoys a darker story, with some puzzles. Overall there is depth to the story, I love the dark atmosphere, and the devs do not shy away from showing it. The characters are interesting, even the side NPCs that are there just to be there. The puzzles are weird at times, and requires a lot of backthracking - but overall they sometimes require a bit of forethought - and reading carefully between the lines - they don't feel overlycomplicated but they may not be as obvious for some people (am one of those ppl xD - at times - no matter how many puzzle games I played).
Did not enjoy it. Felt like I was running around lost most of the time. Characters were unlikable. Story was uninteresting.
