Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Nah, skip this one completely—play the original Half-Life (1998) instead. This Source port is straight-up trash. Bugs everywhere, and the graphics feel super forced and weird in that Source engine style. Quick explanation: This version basically started as a dev test to see whether the original code could even run on Source engine just before Half-Life 2 came out. And… yeah, that’s basically all it is. My own playtime here? That’s literally all the hours I wasted trying to force myself to replay it. Beat it once, but never again. Round 2 and 3? Instant nope. It’s the exact same game as 1998… just with a worse, buggier, more frustrating engine constantly slapping you in the face. Just pretend this is some random forgotten mod. It’s not worth your time. Seriously — save yourself the headache and the burnout. Proper Half-Life experience order (if you actually want to enjoy the series): Half-Life (1998) – the pure legend Opposing Force Blue Shift Half-Life 2 (+ Lost Coast if you want, it’s very short and optional) Black Mesa – modern remake/closure, gameplay got tweaked a bit but it’s 100× better than any “Source” port Skip HL: Source, Deathmatch: Source, and HL2: Deathmatch too. The first two are dead + broken engine. HL2DM is slightly less bad… but the servers are completely dead anyway. Zero people, zero fun. Bottom line Unless you actively enjoy motion sickness, constant bugs, and rage-quitting — stay very far away from this version. Your time is way too valuable for this. Play the real ones.
Best way to experience Half-Life
Best version of the game don’t play that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gold source original. This is where it at the very pinnacle of gaming!!!
