Half-Life: Blue Shift

Half-Life: Blue Shift is one of three expansion packs made by Gearbox for the original Half-Life and whilst this one isn't the best it's still somewhat good and pretty fun. The story is short with seven chapters (minus the tram ride at the start of the game) so you will beat it in max 3 hours. The best part about this game was Dr. Rosenberg because he is voiced by the one and only John St. John (if his name dosen't ring any bells he is Big the Cat from Sonic Adventure and Duke Nukem) and it's always a treat to hear any of his work. Amazing voice acting aside Dr. Rosenberg's ai is a little bad when you have to follow him to the old Black Mesa because he gets stuck on everything and if you stop you have to interact with him to make him follow you again but that section is short so it's not a big deal. My biggest problem with this expansion pack is that it dosen't have any new weapons from the base game and if you look at Half-Life: Opposing Force (the other expansion pack that's on Steam) it has a giant arsenal with new fun weapons and reskins of the normal ones so it feels cooler. Why they didn't do that at least is beyond me but considering how short this game is it might have been a waist in their eyes. I dont got much more to say so I give Half-Life: Blue Shift a 6.5 / 10 on the T-T-TV rating scale. Also it's weirdly cool to see Gordon Freeman when you play as somebody else.

A very entertaining game with very few boring moments. I really enjoyed experiencing the disaster from a different perspective, and it really feels like you're working there. Just a little better than Opposing Force, would recommend

The second expansion I've completed. It's less dark than Opposing Force, but at least it has a positive ending. Excellent Half-Life series with alternative developments within the same timeline. I will definitely replay it someday.

Yo Calhoun, isn't your shift ended yet? Yes Dr. Rosenberg, but it is a blue shift today. I will have to wait for the opposing force finish the decaying progress until I can go to my home and have an episode or two of my favorite show.

[h1] Hi hi !! chicos ♥♥ [/h1] [*] Una expansión hermosa, de las que mas disfrute en su momento, encarnamos al amigo de Gordon, el cual sera muy relevante en el futuro !!, la historia es corta como cada expancion del primer juego y sucede en gran parte de los acontecimientos de Gordon, lo puedes pasar en una sentada en quizas 3 horas o poco mas dependiendo tu ritmo. [*] El juego aqui no esta con doblaje castellano, pero puedes usar el mod que lo portea de consola tranquilamente y funciona perfectamente, solo debes copiarlo dentro de la carpeta del juego y ya funciona tanto para textos como para doblaje. [*] Como cada expansión del primer titulo aqui se expanden los enemigos ( las variantes ) ademas de aparecer nuevos, tambien aparecen nuevas armas, lo cual se agradece siempre dando nuevas formas de jugarlo. [*] Realmente para ser un juego de hace mucho tiempo se continua sintiendo absolutamente fresco hoy en dia con sus mecanicas y demas apartados tanto graficos, sonoros y de como manejas al personaje, ademas del a IA del enemigo esta bastante bien. Juego totalmente recomendado, lo hemos disfrutado mucho en el canal y comunidad.
