The world is a vast, beautiful and dangerous place – especially when you have been shrunk to the size of an ant. Can you thrive alongside the hordes of giant insects, fighting to survive the perils of the backyard?
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 9.86/day in the week to Sep 1 → 20.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 20: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Honestly a phenomenal game. Grounded is definitely my overall favorite open world survival crafting game to date. There are some games out there that have Grounded beat in certain categories (some might have better writing, combat, balancing, etc.), but Grounded in aggregate scores the best in my opinion. Pros: The story is pretty fun, can be corny, but that's kinda the point. It has some good references/easter eggs and stays consistent. The game is fun to play solo, and gets even better with friends. There's a lot of really nice quality of life aspects of this game, like hot depositing into all nearby chests, being able to access storage from crafting benches, cool base construction options, ziplines and teleporters, the handy gnat is goated, etc. etc. Exploration is fun to do in this game, and it is well rewarded. The game overall doesn't feel grindy to get crafting materials like many survival crafting games suffer from. Combat is mostly well designed and the enemies (bugs) feel unique. It's not just a bunch of copy-pasted enemies with varying health bars and damage numbers. An incredibly robust custom world creator that even lets players create their own campaigns. There isn't a dumb af fishing mechanic. Cons: The multiplayer experience can be unstable, and doesn't handle lower internet speeds very gracefully. Some of the physics can be wonky. Objects will place weirdly at times, and throwing weapons/items is really bad as the elevation of your throw is incredibly unintuitive. Upgrading weapons in the late game can be grindy, and this gets significantly worse if you have more players in the world. There's no built in compensation for this. Probably my biggest critique is that the weapons and armor aren't super balanced. Some of the gear in this game out performs the others. This unintentionally limits your creativity in the builds you use if you want to not make the game harder on yourself. Overall, the cons are fairly minor, and the quality of gameplay paired with the quality of life additions to this game make it a great one. You can really tell they put a lot of effort into making a good game and listening to player feedback/wishes during development. You can easily get 100+ hours of entertainment out of this game for only 40 bucks. If you like coop survival games, buy this one. Don't even need to wait for a sale to get great value for money.

After 170 hours and 100% the game, I think I can respectfully give it a review!! One of the best and most fun survival games out there. Extremely hard at first, as most survivals go. The game is so so challenging in the best way possible. There is so much to do, so many achievements to complete and so much nostalgia to explore and encounter. It's considered and older game as of right now, but waiting until it was FULLY released was the best thing I could have done to get the MOST out of my gaming experience at my own pace!! 10/10
Really enjoyed Grounded from start to finish. The idea of being tiny in your own backyard is awesome, and there’s a surprising amount to explore and do. I really liked the crafting, building, combat, gear upgrades, mutations, and all the different enemies and bosses. There’s always something to work toward, and exploring the backyard never really got boring. I ended up 100% completing the game, and honestly had a great time doing it. There were definitely some grindy moments, but overall the progression felt really rewarding. If you like survival games with exploration, crafting, combat, and a good amount of content, I definitely recommend Grounded. 10/10 — had a lot of fun with this one!
