Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 16.86/day in the week to Aug 19 → 25.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I'll mainly be talking about the career mode, as that was the main selling point for me. It started off fine and I was having a lot of fun with it, but after a few hours the cracks started to show. The career mode is super buggy. Flight routes won't work. You'll have a long haul flight of hours, only for the route not to show your destination, and if you manage to find it on your own, it won't trigger that you landed preventing you from completing the mission causing multiple wasted hours. Sometimes you'll fail mission to no fault of your own. Buggy geometry will cause you to crash. Seeing as how this game as been out for a while now, it seems the powers that be have no interest in fixing it. It's a shame. There's a lot of fun to be had, but the buggy nature of it makes me not recommend it to anyone interested in the career mode.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 3: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Honestly, I'm terribly disappointed. MSFS 2020 was great. It had issues, but I could've seen it improving over time, as it was promised a decade of support. Then, Microsoft decided to launch this. It felt like a betrayal, but as the release was approaching I managed to become hopeful again. So I bought it, launched it - campaign doesn't work. The main feature that was added works worse than third party mods for MSFS 2020. So I put it back. I've returned after 2 years - campaign still doesn't work, and you get stuck on ATC after landing. On top of that, despite fumbling it so hard, the team didn't think about making the campaign conditions less restrictive, so that we could still progress through the campaign on a landing basis, without being blocked at the hold-short line and having to keep restarting the mission/game in hopes of it working this time. A waste of money, but most of all a waste of time.
Absolutely incredible game. I spent 20 minutes setting up my flight, another 15 minutes staring at the loading screen, and then immediately crashed into a tree because I forgot to turn off the parking brake. The graphics are so good that my PC started sounding like an actual aircraft engine so much realism absolutely recommend. My GPU is currently somewhere between takeoff and TO/GA. Tried landing a 747 once. The runway was 3,000 meters long. I used all 3,000 meters. Then another 800 meters of grass. Then a fence. 10/10 the FAA deployed a wordwide manhunt for my ass.
I'm going to be honest, I primarily got this game because FSX:SE was crashing on me. It turned out to be the most fun I've had in a simulation game in a long time. I sometimes have no idea what dials I'm turning or what switches I'm clicking. What does LOC do? No idea. I struggle with using the autopilot especially on Airbus. How do I successfully initiate ILS to autoland? I haven't managed a single ILS landing despite tuning the frequencies. Despite all my struggles, I've landed a commercial jet somewhat safely a few times with minimal assists. I'm quite proud of that achievement. "Yay, I've done a thing!" The airlines can trust me in case they ever need a pilot.
2026 Still full of bugs I've owned the game for months and at the start I thought its ok they will fix it but they don't. ground triggers are awful if you can find them, they could of entered some form of margin for error for their bad scripts but no, if your 1 pixel out ha penalty for you. Minor damage to plane forms as a crash, after 3 hrs flying worth 120k a 6k tyre is known as a crash, when the plane was down cessna 172 flaps down 60mph landing I'm not pro but those stats stack up to me and the plane did land but as I slowed down it said I crashed and kicked me back to main screen, the plane was maintained before flight. Air traffic online and AI is a joke, 2 days flying solid you will be lucky to see 2 aircraft and when you do they look so bad, fake, janky, and probably doing donuts, or 3 hrs stuck on radio loop argh! one time I waited 20 min for an aircraft to wiggle and loop all the way down the runway which was a small airfield runway with a huge airliner on it crazy. I always did feel like trying to link a whole world into a simulator was impressive and a company like Microsoft might pull it off, in reality they don't, I don't think its possible to even achieve?, They would be better using areas of the world in sections and getting it right not spreading themselves around the globe and looking stupid. They also need to categorise the game better so there is options for scenarios like fun, relaxed, serious ,or pro, not everyone wants to have the flaps up in the nano second the manual says so Or accidentally hit the landing gear switch for 1 second mid flight to get another penalty, they could make the game so much more fun with difficulty levels I don't get it, its a game not a cheap one which takes not a cheap computer to run and the size of your HD needs to be huge I go to 400gig of this game on my HD and I didn't even touch the surface but like I said its trying to be a simulator, pro level with trash coding and crappy scripts with zero tolerance and 90% of the time its their fault. The game looks insane and I got a really nice frame rate buttery smooth, but I expected more than this.
Edit: I just reset my career and chose another airport. No bugs in the other airport. In Career mode, I couldn't get past the PPL Check Ride due to the bug- after landing, and hold short of taxi way, there are no ATC instructions where to park, and I cannot confirm the ATC clearance. ( I tried multiple solutions found on forums (shutting off engine, restarting, crashing etc) - still wont work. Hope this can be fixed. :/ Anyone else with this problem, please share how you got past this issue. I'm hopeful and trying hard to be very optimistic about this game despite it being BUGGY, takes long to load, and crashes. Will explore the other game modes for the mean time.
After playing for more than 500 hours, I can say that this is an enjoyable game, especially in free flight. However, in career mode there are still far too many glitches. In some missions, I can’t complete certain tasks without having to skip that part.
NOT RECOMMENDED This is a high-end build that exceeds every recommended specification for this game by a significant margin. The issue I experienced is a known software defect, not a hardware limitation. I wanted to love this game. The visuals are stunning, the world is incredible, and the concept of Career Mode is exactly what flight simulation has been missing. Unfortunately I cannot recommend it in its current state because of a game-breaking bug that made it completely unplayable for me. Career Mode is the entire reason most people buy MSFS 2024. Everything is gated behind a mandatory PPL certification mission that you cannot skip. I spent 3.5 hours across multiple attempts trying to complete it and failed every single time, not because I was doing anything wrong, but because of a known bug that Microsoft has not fixed. Here is what happens: at the very end of the PPL mission, after you have landed and are taxiing to parking, the ATC dialogue required to complete the mission either refuses to start at all or only gives you a 'Say Again' option with no way to progress. The mission cannot be completed without this dialogue. There are no skip options available at this stage of the certification. You are simply stuck. This is not a rare or obscure bug. It is all over the official Microsoft Flight Simulator forums, Steam discussions, and Reddit. Microsoft knows about it. It has survived multiple sim updates without a proper fix. The only suggested workarounds involve keyboard shortcuts and manual radio tuning that did not work in my case. I tried everything: manually tuning the COM radio, ALT+N to force parking, full engine shutdown, empty community folder, full sim restarts. Nothing worked. 3.5 hours gone with nothing to show for it. The sad part is this game clearly has enormous potential. But selling a product with a mandatory first mission that a significant portion of players cannot complete due to a known unpatched bug is not acceptable at full price. Wait for a sale or wait until they actually fix Career Mode. As it stands right now I cannot recommend it.
MY MICROSOFT ACCOUNT WAS BLOCKED AFTER 2.5 HOURS OF GAMEPLAY! SCAMMED! They let me play 2.5 hours of single player, and then Microsoft randomly banned my new Microsoft account, which I made just for the game. The game only lets you log in with the first Microsoft Account you log in with. 2.5 hours is just long enough to make it difficult to get a refund on Steam.
