Just not fun for me. Refunded. Spent most of my time sluggishly trying to run back into combat.
I’ve genuinely loved this series from Verdun to Isonzo, largely because of its gunplay. That fast, lethal “one bullet in the chamber” feeling made every accurate shot extremely satisfying, and Isonzo in particular refined it very well. Sadly, after a few hours with Gallipoli, I’ve found almost none of the satisfying, enjoyable gunplay that made me love the previous games. My problem with Gallipoli isn’t simply that it moved from hitscan to a projectile-based system. I’m perfectly open to bullet travel time, drop, stronger suppression, stamina and more demanding weapon handling. The problem is how it currently feels. Gunfights seem much less consistent, much less readable, and ultimately much less rewarding. Movement, exhaustion or suppression should make acquiring and holding your aim harder. But if I manage to compensate for those effects and fire while my sights are correctly aligned, I still expect a reasonable relationship between where I aim and where the bullet goes. Right now, too many shots feel strangely disconnected from my input. Instead of thinking “I missed because I aimed badly,” I’m often left wondering whether it was sway, ballistics, latency, hit registration, or something else entirely. Difficulty is fine, but randomness, or at least the feeling of randomness, is much more frustrating. Worse, this seems to affect the wider gameplay balance. If dynamic rifle shooting becomes unreliable, stopping, waiting and defending become disproportionately effective. Pistols also become much stronger simply because firing several quick shots compensates for unreliable single-shot rifles. My biggest problem is that I still can’t tell how much of this is intentional design and how much is poor or unfinished implementation. That makes Gallipoli extremely difficult to evaluate fairly. Am I supposed to learn these mechanics, or am I fighting technical issues that will eventually be fixed? This is all the more disappointing because Gallipoli also introduces several novel ideas that seem interesting, particularly suppression giving MGs a clearer role and the greater emphasis on squad gameplay. There are also other aspects that could use improvement, such as roles, balance and map design. However, it is difficult for me to properly assess any of them while the core gameplay feels so broken. So I don’t necessarily want Isonzo’s gameplay back. I just want shooting to feel consistent, understandable and rewarding again. For now, though, I simply have much more fun with Isonzo’s core gunfights. I’ll probably ask for refund and wait until it becomes clearer which elements are intentional design choices and which still need fixing.

Gallipoli Mé celkové hodnocení: [91%] KLADY: + následuje ověřený recept + frčí obstojně + vcelku dobrej launch + sleva 25% hned ze startu + vypadá krásně ZÁPORY: - některé věci zatím chybí - občas blbne kamera / animace - někdy špatně spawne, nepřátelům do zad CELKOVÉ SHRNUTÍ: Předcházející Isonzo mě mega bavilo a u Gallipoli mi některé věci vyhovují snad ještě víc.
優點:+;保留意見(不見得是優/缺點):=;缺點:-; +主程式:臺幣(原價)561元,(-25%)420元,實惠。 +目前是槍械不用刷等級,全解的狀態,但是刷各武器等級可以拿perk。 =職業等級的話,好像是只有職業主/被動perk加成(我目前只有玩軍官,因為不少會打字指揮的人沒自行升官XD)。 =地圖上的HMG、輕型迫擊跑好像比以往重要多了, -目前的火力支援只有榴彈炮/戰鬥機轟炸和標準火炮2種,沒煙、沒毒氣。 devlog上我印象好像不只這些工具才對… 總體來說,比Isonzo最後的完成度低一些, -步槍偏高傷低彈藥數或上彈較慢的槍, =手槍的部份,因為射距變長,槍射程不足時會打不到人,感覺有點nerfed +還有這代有壓制效果,這才夠真實, 大多沒壓制效果的fps沒中就等被反殺,這代是沒中但夠近的話, 會視線周圍變黑或太多壓制一些會自動逃竄。 +:3(價格、少解鎖門檻、壓制); =:3(perk、地圖設計、手槍nerfed); -:2(火力支援種類少、步槍偏少彈藥小彈倉);
I call this genre semi realistic slop.
This game sucks, lobbies are full of campers and the movement feels kind of clunkier. It is so bad that this is the only game in history I have refunded. Don't buy this unless you hate your life.
