About

For The King II provides a complete campaign with over 30 hours of gameplay, split into 7 separate adventures, each narratively linked. Roll up, roll up! Put your skills to the ultimate test with the infinite dungeon mode - Dark Carnival. Led by the devious Ringmaster, your goal is to conquer as many floors as possible before you meet your inevitable demise. Collect carnival tickets to explore new paths, discover a host of themed rooms and spin the Wheel of Death as you try to escape your fate. How far will you make it through the Dark Carnival?

Traverse Fahrul solo or with up-to three friends in four-player co-op. As a solo player you can control all characters in your party, giving you complete ownership of the campaign map and combat strategy whilst in four-player co-op you must coordinate and negotiate with your party members. Play online multiplayer with your friends controlling your own character(s) or play offline co-op on the same PC.

Inspired by turn-based classics, For The King II adds strategic depth to much-loved combat mechanics with the new Battle Grid, where movement and position provide you and your enemies with strategic buffs and penalties. Defend the back row by equipping a mighty Tower Shield, push enemies into lethal pools of burning fire, or entangle melee troops with dark magic cast with weapons looted from vanquished foes. The choice is yours!

Fahrul is both beautiful and deadly in equal measure. On your journey you will encounter a wealth of diverse biome environments brought to life in a breathtaking art style. From lush forests, toxic swamps and lava-filled wastelands to pirate (no scratch that!) Merling-infested tropical seas, For The King II transports you deep into the wonders of Fahrul, leading you further than ever before into this stunningly-imagined land of adventure.

The UI in this game is so frustrating that I will never open it again.
I love this series of games, both the first part and the second were very pleased, I enjoyed spending ~ 100 hours there.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is a vast improvement over the first game in my opinion. Almost everything is better honestly. Classes are ported over and are individualistic for a niche, having a wide variety to use in each run. The first game has a similar concept so it's not that different here except additional stuff added in this one. If you liked the first games classes, I'm sure you'll like this one. Campaigns are now shorter, normally 2 boss encounters
(with 2 miniboss encounters leading up to said boss)
with additional discoveries on the way for maybe a few more. If you liked the 1st games (main) campaign, it feels similar overall.
Instead of having the sailing portion(so far in the first 2 'chapters', they're just seperated into....well. chapters.)
Combat is better with Primary and secondary actions. Now you can change your weapon AND still attack. You can use an item AND still attack. significantly better than the first games system of 'anything is a full turn'. There's a grid for combat instead of preassigned spots. Which is different than the first game, but it is better. You can move yourself(secondary action) to make enemies attacks less effective. There's ground effects too.
Pets are in this game too, which I think is a great addition.
For multiplayer, EVERYONE can make a save now and play on their own if they really wanted to. If you don't have the DLC you can't play on the save, BUT you can still make a save. Everyone could have their own save if they really wanted to and play on their own if you're schedules only really let you meet up every once in a while. I haven't had any issues with connections so far, despite playing with overseas friends, my connection has been stable and no real issues have happened. 200 ping really isn't that big of a deal to be honest in this game. Great game, worth full price. Though the DLC's are not, catch those on a sale. For some QoL stuff, I do with there was a 'skip animations' button. I haven't checked the settings so there might be tbh.
The first For The King game was amazing. I really liked all of the details in the story and different gamemodes making it feel like a new game everytime you played it. I have easaly over 100 hours into it with friends and solo runs. This new For The King II is a lot of the old charm but it is totally repackaged. It feels like a fun game and i like all the new stuff but somehow it feels like it lost some of its charm by overcomplicating some things. Like for instance, being able to always see your whole party's stats was super handy when deciding who to give what equipment and armor to. The combat still feels satisfying, the art style is still great, and the co-op chaos with friends is honestly where the game shines the most. The new class system, bigger maps, and expanded mechanics definitely add more depth, but sometimes it feels like depth for the sake of depth rather than improving what already worked so well in the first game. There are moments where menus and systems feel a little clunky compared to how smooth and straightforward the original felt. That said, I still think it’s a good sequel and worth playing if you loved the first one. It keeps enough of the original spirit to be fun, especially with friends, and there’s clearly a lot of passion put into it. I just miss some of the simplicity and charm that made the first game feel so easy to jump into for “just one more run.” Overall I’d still recommend it to fans of the series, but I think the first game still has a special magic that hasn’t quite been matched.
For The King serisi tam olarak ne sunuyor? For The King bir tabletop D&D + tabletop + sıra tabanlı karışımı sayılabilecek bir RPG.
This game has some of the worst UI and UX design I've seen in my god forsaken life, ♥♥♥♥ you would expect out of something from 2002 not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 2023. Game is mostly chill otherwise but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this is the most atrocious menuing I have seen in anything ever. If you can stand ♥♥♥♥ menus and like this kind of game you'll have a good time.
I think FTK2 got off to a rough start but honestly everything about this game is an improvement over the first. The extra party member, the new weapons, and the campaigns being split are all great QOL improvements. The DLCs have been great and I love the game for some co-op for or some serious grinding for Master difficulty achievements.
