one of my all-time favorite final fantasy games, and the zodiac age enhancements make the game even more enjoyable and fun. ivalice is always a treat. the trails mode in tza is genuinely demonic (in a fun way). would definitely recommend

I have never played a game where in the early levels I am afraid of cacti, dogs and the inexorable advance of an empire. Feels1500sman, 10/10

One of the most intricate and well written titles in the Final Fantasy franchise, the great thing about FF is most of the time each game is radically different than the one before exceptions being the newer remakes and remasters, but this one in particular with the license point job boards and gambit system to control your other 2 wandering party members, this is the first one to feel like an open world almost MMO type feel because when setup properly a party can just cruise thru a dungeon or across the desert taking on any enemy foolish enough to come near them. This has probably the most customization options of any FF title, and thats a tough spot to hold.
