ultimately, I would say that this game is colored for me by my childhood, but I would still say to give it a try. Vaan is not the main character so don't worry if you hate him right off the bat. The game is best played at 2X speed, but I enjoy the areas and monsters even if they are massive. The story is good, even if it is a retelling of Star Wars (guess who Fran is) and I loved the Hunts, Bazaar/loot, and the subtle environmental story telling
I'm not a big fan of its battle system but what I can say is that the graphics are beautiful especially for a PS2 era remastered game. I love the themes of this games, Its very mature not so much with its political aspect but its world building instead. And YES!! Balthier is the leading man.

Runtime Error とエラーが出て①の作業をやっても起動しなくなった人へ ①別の方のレビューで C:Usersユーザー名AppDataLocalNVIDIADXCache にあるグラボのキャッシュファイルを全て削除して、都度このエラーが発生したらその度にキャッシュファイルを削除してゲームができるように私もなりました。 ②その後、エラーが起きるたびに①の作業をやってゲームを起動していたのですが突然その作業をやってもできなかったことが起きました。 その時私がchat gptにゲーム起動時に起こった事象を入力して回答を得て無事ゲームをすることができた結果を共有致します。 〈手順〉 まずゲームを起動した後、小窓ウィンドウが立ち上がり起動オプションが二つ表示されます。 1.FINAL FANTASY XII THE ZODIAC AGEをプレイ 2.設定ツールを起動 今まで1を選択しゲームをプレイしていたのですが、今回は2の「設定ツールを起動」を選択します。 選択すると「ゲーム設定」の画面が開き、「グラフィック」その下に ・グラフィックアダプター ・解像度 ・画面モード ・グラフィッククオリティ ・描写制限 ・垂直同期 ・入力デバイス設定 が設定できる画面が表示されます。 今回私はchat gptの指示で垂直同期を「オン→オフ」に変更して「適用」ボタンを押し画面を閉じました。その後、「1.FINAL FANTASY XII THE ZODIAC AGEをプレイ」を選択してゲームをプレイすることができました。 〈原因〉 今回私が突然ゲームができなかったのはゲーム起動時にゲーム内で画面設定の解像度を手違いで少しいじくった後に突然ゲームが強制終了し、①の作業をやってもできなくなったので多分画面設定の処理の部分で問題が起きたんだと想像しています。 〈注意点〉 私の時はchat gptに聞いてたまたまうまくいっただけなので別の方も同様のケースが起きたときに上記の手順を踏んで必ずゲームできるとは言い切れませんのであくまで参考程度に留めておいてください。 私は今まで他のゲームのレビューを見て助かった経緯があり、FINAL FANTASY XII THE ZODIAC AGEでも①の作業をしてゲームを起動することができたことがあったので今後もしこのレビューを見てゲームを再開することができたらうれしいなと思い書き残しました。（私はこのゲームが面白かったので不具合でできなくなる人が減ればいいなと思ってます。） もし何かしら問題が起きたらsteamの様々なレビューやインターネット、chat gptなど自分から調べて行って、必ずとは言い切れませんが解決できることがあったりするのであきらめないでください。

Très beau jeu, je n'avais pas joué depuis Final Fantasy X sur PS2, ce remaster PC fait du bien.
Gioco che non ha bisogno di presentazioni, ha la velocità 200% e 400% che aiutano a velocizzare le fasi più noiose, purtroppo non hanno sistemato la telecamera e troppo spesso ti trovi a combattere inquadrando il miro al posto del nemico. Come meccanica hanno lasciato i punti licenza che vengono guadagnati da tutto il team ed i punti esperienza solo dai 3 membri che combattono, è un gioco basato sull' equipaggiamento ma il livello conta, poco, ma conta e non condividere l' esperienza significa avere un party principale sempre attivo ed uno secondario con livelli bassissimi da usare per le emergenze. Insomma per me oltre alla funzione per aumentare la velocità, devono anche risolvere i problemi dell' originale per fare una remastered e qui non l' hanno fatto. Come remastered bocciata, come gioco un 7 pieno, forse avrei aggiunto più opzioni nel gambit.

I found this game really boring. Pretty big fan of the franchise. Played several of them. I even really liked FF13 1+2 (not 3) and I have 2000+ hours in FF14. This felt really dull and repetitive to me (a tall order after 2000+ hours in ff14 doing repetitive mmo dailies). I saw online that it eventually picks up so after some hours of monotony I looked at a walkthrough site to see how far through the game I was... and I was near the end... and it still felt like nothing had happened. It just felt like running around aimlessly for a few dozen hours. I'm sure some people like the combat and whatnot, but the story and characters are completely unappealing and unrelatable. I just could not connect with it. If you are a person like me that plays RPGs to connect with the world and the characters and care about what happens to them. I'd say pass on this one.
An old favourite, further enhanced with the job system. Runs really well, no issues, and the autosave is a godsend.
