Terminei Final Fantasy IX depois de cerca de 57 horas, e sinceramente foi uma experiência muito diferente da que eu tive quando era criança. Na época eu gostava da aventura, dos personagens e do clima fantasioso, mas não entendia quase nada da profundidade da história. Jogando hoje, adulto, fiquei surpreso com o peso filosófico que o jogo carrega principalmente no final. Do Disco 3 pro Disco 4, a história começa a falar muito sobre medo da morte, identidade, livre-arbítrio e propósito da vida. O Vivi, o Kuja e principalmente o Zidane carregam temas existenciais muito fortes. O Kuja entrando em desespero por descobrir que vai morrer, o Zidane percebendo que foi criado como ferramenta e mesmo assim escolhendo quem quer ser… tudo isso me pegou de um jeito que eu nunca imaginaria num jogo que eu lembrava só como um “RPG bonito da infância”. E o mais curioso é que o jogo ainda mergulha em ideias quase nihilistas no final, falando sobre vazio, inutilidade e o sentido da existência. Foi uma surpresa enorme revisitar algo tão nostálgico e perceber que tinha uma mensagem tão madura escondida ali o tempo inteiro. Pra mim, envelheceu absurdamente bem. Não é só um clássico pela nostalgia. É um jogo que realmente tem algo a dizer.

Sem palavras para descrever a beleza e o que esse jogo é. O ápice da franquia, a mensagem que o jogo passa é linda, os personagens são espetaculares, principalmente o Zidane e Vivi. Historia com varias reviravoltas, e melhorando a cada disco. Sem igual. O melhor FF, e um dos melhores jogos da historia sem sombra de duvidas.
