Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

it is very bad game if i be a gay i would finish the game okey
I loved this game, but to be clear the progression system is irriating so I used mods to get the best weapon early and delivered pure chaos and mayhem to the world. Loved it, the game is good if you play as per your taste, if you play it how Ubisheet intended it to be played, you won't enjoy it much after the first few hours.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

If you finished Far Cry 5 and thought, "You know what this cult-infested, doomsday-prepper paradise really needs? More neon, zero kidnappings, and a weapon that fires literal saw blades," Ubisoft heard your exact prayers. Enter Far Cry New Dawn, a game that took the burning wreckage of Hope County and threw a glitter bomb right at it. Going in, the internet gave you all the classic warning labels: - "The world is too pink!" - "It’s too short!" - "It should’ve just been DLC!" - "The Highwaymen Twins couldn't hold a candle to Joseph Seed!" And you know what? Fair enough. The playable map is a shrunk-down, bite-sized version of Montana, and at roughly 22 hours, you can practically finish it over a long weekend. But honestly? That might actually be its greatest superpower. For all its recycled real estate and bubblegum-pink aesthetic, New Dawn quietly fixes one of the most maddening features of its predecessor: the dreaded forced kidnapping squads. Gone are the days of minding your own business, fishing by a river, only to get instantly tranquilised by an invisible hunter and dragged across the county for a mandatory monologue. In New Dawn, the story actually respects your time and lets you progress naturally. Plus, the sandbox got lovely little upgrades like: - The Saw Launcher; Because nothing says "post-apocalyptic survival" quite like decapitating highway bandits with a spinning disc of repurposed hardware store shrapnel. - Quirky Companions: Who needs normal mercenaries when you can roll with eccentric locals who make the wasteland feel wonderfully alive? - Outpost Escalation: The outpost system gets a neat twist, letting you scavenge and re-capture them at higher difficulties once the enemies take them back. Sure, the Twins might lack the creepy, multi-layered philosophical weight of Joseph Seed, but sometimes you don't want a deep psychological breakdown, you just want to shoot neon-soaked bandits in a world that looks like a high-end paintball arena exploded. If you enjoyed the core gameplay loop of Far Cry 5, this is well worth a spin. Just do your wallet a favour and wait for a proper sale given its compact runtime.
TLDR: 7.5/10 Breaks the Far Cry Mold by Introducing More RPG Type Gameplay. Ignore the Story Though Lol

Actual Review (Full Spoilers Ahead)
It took a few hours, but I warmed up to this game quite well. It plays kinda the same as other FC games but definitely departs from the norm with the weapon system and enemy tiers. It also brings back the basecamp upgrade system from Primal (it's also about the same length campaign). It has much more RPG-like progression than standard campaign shooter progression. Overall, I'd say it's pretty refined in the gameplay department, but you'll just have to mentally check out for the story/writing. The concept isn't a bad idea (basically Far Cry x Mad Max type vibe). But the writing is kinda stilted, forced, or just plain bad. The villains are ok, but it's hard to take them seriously when there are MULTIPLE instances of "literally just shoot them right now what is stopping you other than this being a cutscene". There's a lot of stuff like that where the only reason something plays out in a certain way is purely to advance the plot. FC5 also suffers from this, but New Dawn does it unashamedly. This is also technically an alternate timeline to the main games, since both of FC5's main endings canonically didn't happen in FC6. That won't stop me from trying to headcanon my way into connecting all of them though. Every spin-off game is too interesting, unique, and fun to not be conventionally canon. It is weirdly funny how 2019 had not one, but TWO fps titles with badly written, kinda cringey villain twins in a Mad Max style world, that had an initially cool concept, but with poor execution. All while still having close to, if not THE most polished gameplay in the series. (Borderlands 3 being the other one). Most polished gameplay may be less true for New Dawn, but it's different enough from traditional FC games that it's kinda up to personal preference. The more RPG-style combat elements and resource management can be annoying to adapt to, but once you do it's pretty intuitive. Difficulty scaling is much more obvious, with enemies being separated into tiers, as well as weapons. You will eventually come across breakpoints where you have to ditch your current loadout and unlock better weapons before you can progress without frustration, but that's just the progression system they chose for this game. And it's not hard to get better weapons anyway. Really the only "grindy" parts of the weapon system is during endgame when you start crafting tier 4 guns, which are basically the only ones worth upgrading - as you'll need all your resources to craft stuff early and midgame. Once you do get endgame gear though, the game basically plays itself. You can infinitely upgrade weapons and even certain perks - so if you really felt like minmaxing a certain loadout you could. It's not really needed aside for maybe the ending bossfights, which are just kinda boring, obnoxiously tanky enemy-type combat. Achievements are pretty easily done besides some co-op related stuff, and there are no missable/repeat playthrough achievements. If you liked the more hero shooter design of the other FC games, probably skip this one. But even if you do like the more RPG design, still wait for a sale cause the length of this game isn't worth full price. It is still without a doubt a great FC game though. 7.5/10
Let me play without ubisoft connect, that bloatware is an absolute waste of time and space
Far Cry® New Dawn is a good game, although I personally think it's more like a DLC for Far Cry 5, and as such, it should have been released as DLC, not a standalone game. That's just my opinion. The game is quite enjoyable, and importantly, it's not long and doesn't particularly expand on the familiar formula of Far Cry 5. It offers new weapons and a new/old world to explore. New mechanics allow you to upgrade your settlement, which gives you the ability to craft stronger weapons and other benefits, but that's about it. As I said, it's more of an expansion than a standalone game. However, I don't like the main villain and the story in "New Dawn." I think it's simply weak, but I finished the game and had a good time, so I have no complaints. I give the game a positive rating and recommend it to anyone who's finished Far Cry 5, so you can play it. But only buy it on sale, not at the regular price.
