F.E.A.R. 3 delivers all the hallmarks that define the F.E.A.R. brand: terrifying paranormal experience, frenetic combat and a dramatic storyline.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This game is literally the worst FEAR game I've ever played, Jesus! A lot of people have advised me to avoid it because it's not worth anyone's time, and I gotta admit... they were right. The story in this game is bad, the characters are worse (with Becket having the worst painful death I've ever seen; Harlan being portrayed as the most evil man on Earth with no regrets; Fettel being a straight up SOB; Point Man being no longer faceless yet he says 0 words out loud; Alma looking ok and Jin looking a little weird); The gameplay is so uninteresting but I gotta appreciate the new ranking system; some of the challenges were cool to get and all, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this was boring! I can't believe that I'm saying this, but I am of the opinion that even Perseus Mandate is better than this game. But even Perseus Mandate was a bad expansion pack to the first game. Both of these are not worth anyone's time. I'm just so disappointed with how this game turned out to be. Total waste of my time. 2/10
ben F.E.A.R 1, F.E.A.R 2, F.E.A.R 2'nin dlc'si olan F.E.A.R 2: reborn'u ve F.E.A.R 3'ü oynadım. F.E.A.R 3'ü sadece singleplayer oynadım.
ENG / RUS
P. S. Если у вас возникли трудности в прохождении, данное руководство будет очень кстати / If you have difficulties in the passage, this guide will be very useful: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3561496240
THIS UCKING FAMILY TREE
To summarize the entire F.E.A.R. series, the third part occupies a place in the middle in terms of quality, located somewhere between the tense original and the decrepit two. The developers tried to go into cinematography, to reveal the backstory of two significant characters in the series, but, unfortunately, apart from the prettier visuals, the minimization of the HUD (which was beneficial) and the cooperative mode, the game has nothing to praise. Turning to the cons, it is worth noting that the atmosphere of horror is almost completely absent. The game doesn't scare you, but, on the contrary, it makes you scream in places.… Scream from the heat of the shootings! If in the second part the AI of the enemies is noticeably weakened (except for the rats attacking from behind), then in this part the player is showered with bullets from any shelter, from ANY end of the map, that is, they are simply strangled, even on medium difficulty. The concept of shootouts has changed dramatically. If the first part competently alternated between mysticism and minor skirmishes, the second was stretched by unscrewing all sorts of valves, then the third turned into a Max Payne or Serious Sam corridor, constantly throwing up closed arenas with the goal of "until the script works, you won't go any further." And by the way, the arenas here are very bright and narrow. The favelas, the streets are too clean for the apocalypse... No comments. In the end, the main character is still silent, which looks strange in any game, but the most annoying thing is that now we are not playing for the sake of documents (which are not in this game at all) and history, not for the sake of an interesting action game, but for what? Right! FOR THE SAKE OF THE RANKING FOR COMPLETING THE LEVEL, CARL!!! Who even came up with this absurd idea?! Summing up, it is worth noting that, not being a seasoned hater of the F.E.A.R. series, it is worth saying that even the first part and its two non-canonical branches are much better, stronger and more thoughtful than the casual second and stuffy third parts. It is possible to play for general understanding, but, in fact, the third part is the shortest in the series. F.E.A.R. 3 is an average ending to a good series, and it falls far short of the level of the original.
I was buy this game and playing after 15 years i thought mayb not work on my steam deck but honestly Its really good work on steam deck , even without verification And enjoy this game on your steam deck .
FEAR 3 is both better and worse than I had expected. It's much more competent of a shooter than the impression I was got. It still has ruthless and intelligent AI opponents gunning for you, stylish gunplay, and a story mixing paranormal horror with sci-fi action. However, it's also shockingly short. You can beat the main story in 4 hours, while the previous FEAR games had full-length campaigns. There are bonus modes to play and a different protagonist you can explore the story with, but it's disappointing that the interesting story didn't go on as long as it should have. FEAR 3 picks up some time after the events of the 2nd game. After breaking free of the sinister Armacham Corporation, Point Man teams up with the psychic ghost of Paxton Fettel to liberate Alma Wade from Armacham's custody. Their mission gets complicated from attacks by a strange supernatural entity, resistance from Armacham's mercenaries, and reality-warping shockwaves caused by Alma's pregnancy. The deeper that Point Man and Paxton get into Armacham territory, the more apocalyptic things get. Should they save Alma in her hour of need, or should they kill her before her uncontrolled powers cause any more destruction? FEAR 3's gameplay depends on which character you are playing as. By default, you are the Point Man, the main character of the 1st FEAR. You can slow down time to evade danger and land easier shots on enemies. You can also slide, kick enemies, and use cover to lean around environments. You're limited to 2 guns this time, though you can carry a variety of grenades still. Your other option is to play as Paxton Fettel, who uses psychic powers like possession to wreak havoc on Armacham's forces. The entire campaign can be completed alone or in co-op, though it feels like it was meant to be played co-op sometimes. Armacham's forces make for unexpectedly challenging enemies. They seem to operate on the same goal-oriented system of the previous games. They take cover, call out your position, try to track you down if you evade them, get alerted by your flashlight, and warn each other when you whittle down their numbers. They use grenades to flush you out, hide behind cover, and flank you when possible. I went in expecting braindead enemies, so I was pleasantly surprised when they ran rings around me in the first levels. The cultist enemies you fight in a few levels are much less intelligent, but they make up for that with fanaticism and suicidal determination to kill you. The usual assortment of FPS enemies are accompanied by powered armor, "phase casters" who can summon reinforcements, and other paranormal threats. FEAR 3's arsenal of guns is lackluster compared to the previous games' options. The guns themselves work well, especially the harpoon-launching Penetrator and P90-like shotgun, but there aren't as many of them as before. You run dry of ammo easily in the early levels, forcing you to play it smart with how you handle fights. The cultist enemies rarely give ammo back, almost making their encounters feel like a survival horror experience. Combat itself is punchy and rewarding, especially when enemies react to injuries and fatalities. It's just a shame that you'll mostly be using a pistol or SMG. I've heard people say that FEAR 3 is a "good FPS but a bad FEAR game." I think I get what they mean. I didn't even realize until 2/3rds through the game that Replica forces had joined Armacham's mercenaries in fighting me. Characters like Jin return, and the story wraps up the Wade family's plotline pretty well, but it handles other elements poorly. Beckett, the protagonist of FEAR 2, gets a really unsatisfying fate here. There is no explanation given as to why Paxton can't control the Replicas or why they suddenly obey Armacham. How Armacham remains in power while running a police state and fighting the US Military isn't clear, either. With a few more levels to expand on the story, it might have been able to address these problems, but the 8 missions it comes with aren't enough to do that. Outside of the campaign, you get bonus modes focusing on surviving waves or earning points by killing enemies. You also get upgrades to your character by completing in-game challenges, like killing 10 enemies without taking damage. You could go for 100% completion, but there are some challenges and achievements that can't be earned outside of co-op. Like I said, this feels like it was made for co-op play. Overall, FEAR 3 is a pretty solid shooter and a decently satisfying conclusion to the series. The problem is that it could have been better, and you'll be wishing it had gone further with its concepts by the time the credits roll. It's worth playing, but I would only recommend it on sale. A 75% discount or higher would justify giving it a shot. It's a shame that the FEAR expansion packs and FEAR 2: Reborn went ignored, but sticking to the mainline games probably made the story easier to follow.
