Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 56.83/day in the week to Jul 17 → 3.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Cozy meets Cosmic horror. The fun from this game comes from the self paced exploration. This is much more forgiving than Cultist Simulator, and there is only as much pressure as you make for yourself, really. I suggest you figure things out for yourself with this game. Just enjoy the ride and get that music stuck in your head.

玩得忘乎所以
I really enjoy this game.
If you like reading and puzzling things out with little guidance, this is for you. If it's not for you, you're gonna hate the game, so just move on. Some people have described this game as "Cozy" but I think that summons very different imagery. Book of Hours is a game about the occult, about learning forbidden things, about dissecting corpses under the light of the fading sun, about studying the history and using what you learn to solve the various puzzles and secrets contained within. It's very mentally intensive and getting "good" at it involves compiling notes and creating complex plans. It's relaxing, it's fun, but it's not "cozy." Around 20 hours in I feel like I've barely scratched the surface. If this game catches your interest it's worth buying at any price, cause you'll be able to spend a lot of time on it. Just try to avoid guides unless well and truly Stuck, I think the game is best played when you make your own wiki for it in your word processor.
好好玩
i like the art and gameplay to put in short - no tutorials, completely on yr own to explore and expriment - no guidance, again DIY - no hints, DIY but youtube have some if u really struggles, but still gotta figure the most part of the game
Other than an uncertainty on how to unlock the different houses in Brancrug and figuring out the ropes, it is an absolute blast. The anxiety of examining a book with just barely enough Nectar, the ecstacy of finally getting the right skill, the agony of waiting for the right visitor to teach you the right language, the bliss of finally unlocking the right room to upgrade the right soul, and the feeling of absolute wisdom when you discover what ingredients are needed to make that mixture you so desperately need. These are all the feelings and moments I get when playing this game and it is exactly why I understand why it may not be everyones cup of tea. If you thrive with those sorts of moments you will very much enjoy this game. Also, no shame in looking some aspects up on the net, though it is very much intended that you experiment on your own.
