Set approximately 10 years after the events of the original BioShock, the halls of Rapture once again echo with sins of the past. Along the Atlantic coastline, a monster has been snatching little girls and bringing them back to the undersea city of Rapture.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 21 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
This game is a great example of how to pull off a sequel. It builds on the original’s strengths without losing its soul. The atmosphere is still top-notch, and the story/narrative maintains the same quality. Combat has been polished and streamlined, making it smoother with features like dual-wielding a Plasmid and a weapon. There are also more Plasmids and Tonics to add variety, alongside new enemy types. The hacking system has been refined; now it’s a real-time minigame, less annoying than before. While some might argue it’s more of the same -and it can feel that way at times- almost everything has been enhanced, making it a step forward in the right direction. Worth it. If you liked BioShock, grab this one! P.S. For anyone experiencing CTDs (crashes to desktop) when reaching Fontaine Futuristics: go into game options and switch texture quality to medium. This fixes the issue, and you can revert it once you’re past that level. Have a good one!

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This game is borderline unplayable due to the amount of bugs and crashes. Most guides online fail to deliver any kind of solution, and the devs couldn't be bothered to patch their game to a competent level. I would recommend rather watching a playthrough of this on Youtube, and moving over to the next game rather than investing your time in it as I did, only to be at a point of no return with endless crashing. TLDR; Don't buy it, the game is falling apart worse than Rapture itself.
el 1 todo bien pero el 2 esta el peligro que se cierre solo, lo bueno que esta el remasted, estuve a nada de terminar este pero llegue a un punto donde se cierra ni bien cargo partida.

a pretty good sequel to the first game. the environment is still good, new interesting weapons, same plasmids as before. your choices of treating the little sisters and some npcs shape the ending of the story which is very cool.

mesero deme otro juego donde las desiciones en mi gameplay afecten al mundo y los finales del juego
(Taken from my comment I put on a youtube video about Bioshock 2) When I got my original Xbox 360 it had the demo for Bioshock on it, at that point I only had 2 games on my 360 so seeing a free demo was nice, I played it and it hooked me immediately. I would later get the full game and loved it. When Bioshock 2 came out I got that and loved it way more it let me play as a Big Daddy which I was fascinated by when I played the first so playing as one was amazing. Bioshock 2 expanding on Rapture (world and lore wise) was done so well showing what happened after the death of both Ryan and Fontaine and how Sophia Lamb turned Rapture into the opposite of Ryan’s vision for the city. Sure it may not have a twist like the first did but it works better without one in my opinion, the first messes with your mind while the second pulls at your heartstrings especially at the end. In short I love 2 and it’s my favourite in the series. I would also recommend the book to anyone interested in more Bioshock it tells the events before Bioshock 1 and a lot of familiar names show up. Also Bioshock 2 did the whole father daughter relationship thing better than Infinite in my opinion.
Just beat the main story of Bioshock 2 and man idk why this game received so much hate. It was such a such a good game honesty, sure the prequel game (Bioshock 1) was definitely better than this in aspects other than gameplay + the big sister encounters became extremely repeatitive and tedious but story is engaging with gameplay like this I can't really complain.
