Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3/day in the week to Jul 30 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Broken build.. game won't start if you have AMD + Nvidia combo, only fix is to perma disable anything AMD on the system... Been an issue for 2-3 years now, devs won't fix it.
The outsider is an eldritch observer beyond morality, beyond understanding. He is the source of powers that warped empires and ruined lives with the flick of a hand. The void he dwells in is enigmatic and unknowable. Anyway, the game devs ran out of ideas for the series, lets go shank his a$$ - Daud Game is about as good as Dishonored 2, but I haven't seen a studio curbstomp its own lore and franchise potential this hard since Rise of Skywalker

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Death of the Outsider is the worst entry in the series. But the worst Dishonored is still a great bloody game!
you play as an ebony goddess in this one as she goes around assassinating chuds on twitter. its an interesting direction to take the series, but its something we needed in these troublesome times
I feel like this game is where the studio started to die and ended up making that absolute dogwater redfall. The main character is intially interesting but then they seem to have just started tokenizing her half way through. Feels like they got more money from from black rock for tokenizing people than they did in sales of the game.
Death of the Outsider is a very lacking entry in the Dishonored series. The story itself is not bad. The central idea of tracking down a way to kill a god is interesting, and it gives the game a different tone compared to the previous entries. There are also a few gameplay ideas that work surprisingly well. Some of Billie Lurk's powers are genuinely creative, like teleport ability that lets you place a marker and return to it later. A few of the new gadgets are also great additions and would have fit perfectly into the earlier games. The problem is that almost everything about this project feels incomplete. From a gameplay perspective, it never really develops into anything new or really interesting. At its core, it is still the standard Dishonored formula, but with a smaller set of tools and a handful of experimental mechanics. Some of those experiments are fine, but none of them are strong enough to carry an entire game. It often feels less like a proper sequel and more like a prototype built around ideas that never received enough room to grow. Billie Lurk was never a particularly interesting character in the previous games, and giving her the lead role did little to change that. She spends most of the game feeling more like a supporting character who accidentally became the protagonist than someone capable of carrying an entire story on her own. What really hurts the experience, though, is its place within the larger series. The entire narrative is built around one massive event that effectively closes the book on the central mythology of Dishonored. That is a risky decision for what is essentially a smaller side project. Instead of feeling like an expansion of the world, it feels like a conclusion. And you may notice that the series has remained dormant ever since. That is why Death of the Outsider constantly feels caught between two different identities. It is too small and experimental to feel like a true sequel, but it also makes story decisions that are far too significant for what should have been a side adventure. Ironically, I think the game would have been much better if it had simply been released as a traditional Dishonored 2 expansion. Something closer to The Knife of Dunwall. The amount of content feels appropriate for a DLC, and most of its shortcomings become much easier to forgive when viewed through that lens. Taken on its own, however, Death of the Outsider feels unsatisfying. It is not a terrible game. There are good ideas here, a decent story, and a few memorable mechanics. But as a standalone release, it feels disconnected from the main duology, focused on a protagonist in whom no one has ever been particularly invested, and determined to close the door on a universe that still had plenty of stories left to tell. In the end, I can’t recommend Death of the Outsider. It's not a bad game overall, and if you're a fan of the original duology or just stealth games in general, you'll probably enjoy it. I just cannot shake the feeling that it should have been a DLC instead of a game.
DotO is to Dishonored 2 what Knife of Dunwall is to Dishonored 1. The problem is, DotO markets itself as its own game, not a DLC/expansion for Dishonored 2 because it's waaaaay too narratively important to be just a DLC. Some aspects are pretty so-so, but don't trust people who say playing this game is a waste of time. If it's any consolation. This game is much MUCH easier to 100% then the hell that is Dishonored 1...
The game is fun, I recommend it. But I don't recommend playing this one if it's your first time playing the Dishonored series.
You should play 1 and 2 first, then Death of the Outsider.
Although it's the latest installment. Honestly, it's just a standalone DLC for Dishonored 2. In terms of the number of levels, it's inferior to Dishonored 1. In terms of level design, playability, and replayability, it's inferior to Dishonored 2. (To be precise, I personally feel that the level design is on par with Dishonored 2, it just lacks maps that can rival the two most famous, god-like map designs in Dishonored 2: The Clockwork Mansion and A Crack in the Slab.) In short, this game is very short and can only be considered a supplement to the world-building. I completed 100% achievement in 10 hours. If you focus on the main quest, you'll only get faster. However, the story is very epic.
Plot: It brings an end to the supernatural era.
If Dishonored 1 was about revenge, and Dishonored 2 was about reclaiming the throne. Then Death of the Outsider is about:
"Why did all this happen?"
This is the first time the series focuses on the Outsider itself. This mysterious and dangerous being is not an omniscient and omnipotent god, but more like a tragic figure imprisoned by fate.
Your mission, as the title suggests, is to assassinate the Outsider or save him.
Sometimes I think about playing this game, but every time I remember I'd have to play as an NPC-tier side character who was never even remotely interesting or charismatic, I give up. Dishonored 2 was their last good game, and judging by Arkane Studios output since then, it was actually a miracle.
