Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Aug 23 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I really like this game, but it's got some issues I wish would get fixed. The main one was that I hoped you could 'lock' certain items from your reward pool so you won't see them again. Many Roguelikes do that now (Vampire Survivor and Megabonk for example do that). This review is more of a warning for players who don't want their game ruined: Do NOT complete the "Wizard School" or the "Archery Lessons" task/adventure run if you don't want your item pool to be completely clogged with items you'll never want! There are a couple playstyles you can utilize in the game, each character having a distinct one of their own. Purse has the most variety, but the only style that works best is the basic armour/weapons style. She could also use Archery, which requires you to reserve tons of empty space for your arrows to be effective, or magic, which is a mediocre style that relies on generating mana from manastones and connecting the stones through magical 'conductive' items that may or may not be affected by that. In a game that's main gimmick is extensive inventory management, creating two gameplay styles that give you and additional restriction to your inventory, one of which that relies on a separate resource to work and is useless without them is just headache-inducing and irritating. A basic sword can deal 7 damage, but if you get a manastone, a wand, and a source of replenishing that mana for the manastone, you can deal 5 damage! Archery can deal a lot of damage, but again, half your bag will need to be empty, which means you'd better have top-tier items defending/supporting you! The good thing is, if you don't complete the "Wizard School" and "Archery Lessons" runs, you won't get a huge amount of magic-based and archery-based items added to your reward pool from chests and battles and research from your buildings. You'll go from getting consistently useful legendary items to legendary items that are like some manastone that's like, "whenever you destroy an item, add 2 mana" or a bow that shoots arrows in front and behind it instead of good swords, armour, or accessory. The other characters' styles are much less suited for them, so they'll not want them, and honestly, archery and magic aren't fun. I'm at a place where I'm thinking of resetting my save to avoid those, but I'm 20 hours in and not sure if I care enough to play any more. I had 3 of that Frog Lady as a random encounter in a row (the one who gives you or upgrades a manastone), and I figured it was god telling me that I should just stop playing the game. I just wish I could turn those items off so they never appear as rewards.

A Buggy Mess So far, I can safely say I'm glad I purchased this game at 50% off of 20 USD but I have trouble recommending even that price to potential players. There are bugs all over the place, often in quick start runs, frequently resulting in attempts to continue from last save (good luck with the asinine save mechanic*) or just flat out burning the run and any time wasted trying it. Several of the side characters have different mechanics to the main story character, each adding admittedly fun and unique styles of play- when they work. Character Bugs (so far): -Tote: On multiple occasions, I've entered an encounter and carvings just do not load. No "End Turn" button either, so there is nothing I can do but close the application or quit to menu and try from a last save. -Satchel: This character on level up requires you to place additions to your bag size in chunks. However, removing a chunk before finalizing for whatever reason results in it returning to a different position in the select screen, making it almost impossible to click-and-drag to a desired position or even at all. Attempting to rotate while this happens will sometimes help but will also sometimes just not rotate either piece. General Bugs: -When landing on a tile that can only be traversed one of two ways and closes the other way off, if I stop a character on that tile or directly on either path, my character endlessly walks to one side of the screen and there is nothing I can click on to progress. Restarting from last save and attempting to choose a path without stopping or stopping again on the tile itself soft locks it again. Run's over, requires a whole new one or avoid that path and miss part of a floor's paths totally. -Summer Items: some of the requirements on the items are straight up inaccurate or not working. For instance, one requires an item above it (NOT requiring sunlight as required/provided by some other items) and if moved around enough can be activated with a blank space above it. Another's description says if burned, heal 12 health; it highlighted and was usable when ANY debuff was active on my character, I could use just it when poisoned to the same effect. -Fairly uncommon but happens enough to mention, your UI on quick start runs will just seemingly freeze. Battle, merchant screen, item selection/backpack management time, just freeze. Can't move anything, can't open map, sound plays throughout but a restart is required. Overall, it's a neat game. But it's 2 years since release that I'm buying & playing it and these bugs are still present, commonplace, and repeatable. It's hardly the first or ONLY backpack battler out there, and certainly not the cheapest for a fully fleshed out game. I wish I had scoped out more reviews before buying it, seems like this is an abandoned listing still up just to grab cash. I can only recommend it on sale, and for more than 50% off, I pity anyone putting a solid 20 bucks on this and expecting it to run smoothly.
It just wasn't my cup of tea; something felt unfinished or just...enough of a gap that made the game not fun.
this is a hard game to review. on one hand the idea is solid and this game set the standard for most of the "backpack battler" games that came after. unfortunately the devs abandoned this game, leaving it unfinished. just a little more polish, a little more modability, and this game would be flawless. even if left unfinished. lets talk about the gameplay loop. pro's: its easy to understand. its easy for new players to feel like they are making meaningful choices. its complex enough for veteran players to sink their teeth into. the challenges make masochists feel welcome. the challenges can make the game easier. its modder community the cons: dear lord the bugs. its very short, and endless ramps way too quickly. it is highly r.n.g based. some of the ideas arent that flushed out. you level incredibly slowly, which makes building difficult without RNJesus on your side. no seeding. the gameplay loop can get very tedious after a while devs abandoned the game. some of the cons can be fixed with mods, but even then you gotta plan for the build you want with mods. and the story mode doesnt support mods. all in all its worth the cash if you wanna see what a backpack battler could be like. the game is still fun dont get me wrong. i just wish the devs would come back and show those crappy clones what areal backpack battler is like. no pay to play mechanics or pay to win, no head to head idler battles. genuine strategy and roguelite progression.

It is full of bugs and the develop seems to have abandoned the project.
BUGGY GAME I have lost two runs in a row due to BS bugs. DO NOT BUY that hurts to say as this game had so much potential but as others have said, where did the devs go?
