Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5/day in the week to Aug 4 → 13/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Welcome to the Living Lands, a mysterious island filled with adventure and danger.
Set in the fictional world of Eora that was first introduced to players in the Pillars of Eternity franchise, Avowed is a first-person fantasy action RPG from the award-winning team at Obsidian Entertainment.
The Living Lands is an island where the air hums with ancient magic, the flora seems to move with a mind of its own, and the ground beneath your feet shifts with secrets waiting to be unearthed.
Now, the Living Lands faces a dire threat—a mysterious plague that defies nature and reason, spreading chaos across its sprawling wilderness.
As an envoy of Aedyr, you are sent to investigate, but what begins as a mission of duty soon becomes deeply personal—you feel as though the land recognizes you and is pulling you toward something greater. The choices you make will ripple across the Living Lands, shaping the fates of its people, its creatures, and even yourself. But beware, for every decision carries weight, and the forces you encounter will not hesitate to test your resolve.
Can you navigate the tangled web of intrigue, power, and danger to uncover the truth? Can you save this unknown frontier and your soul from the forces threatening to tear them asunder?
Even more to do in the game! This update brings New Game Plus, a Photo Mode, a brand new weapon type with two-handed staves, the ability to change character appearance whenever you’d like, new character creation presets, additional Godlike presets, custom game difficulty settings, and the addition of three new playable races: Dwarf, Aumaua, and Orlan.
The Living Lands is a place that feels foreign yet somewhat intrinsic to you as it feels the island itself is calling out to you for help. Explore an island home to many different environments and landscapes, each with their own unique ecosystem.
Mix and match swords, spells, guns, and shields to fight your way. Dig into your grimoire for spells to trap, freeze or burn enemies, bash them with your shield, or use range bows to attack from a distance.
Companions from a spread of species will fight alongside you, with their own unique set of abilities. From a former mercenary to an eccentric wizard, they will be part of your journey with your choices shaping them as you help them with their quests.

Reviews
Avowed isn't the game I hoped for. It fails to translate the rich atmosphere of Pillars of Eternity into an Action RPG. The game suffers from several core weaknesses: - The story has an interesting premise, but the execution is bland. - The companions are mostly useless (aside from a few combat abilities) and talk like they’re constantly in a modern-day intervention — it completely breaks the fantasy setting. On my second playthrough, I skipped their dialogue entirely, even while trying an "evil" run to give things a spin. They're just too boring. - Combat lacks depth across the board. I initially thought it was just ranged combat that felt repetitive, but even as a mage, there’s very little room to experiment. Story, companions, combat, loot, skill trees — it's all very basic. Based on these aspects alone, I couldn't recommend it. On the bright side, the graphics are nice and exploration feels rewarding. Especially on a first playthrough, it feels like there’s something interesting around every corner. Ultimately, the game feels more like a Risen or Elex type of AA RPG rather than Pillars of Eternity or Skyrim. As such, I still somewhat enjoyed it — it's the kind of game you can comfortably play while watching Netflix or YouTube in the background. 6/10 — Buy on sale.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

game runs like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, recommend playing using xbox gamepass. unplayable on PC unless you want to lower settings to bare minimum. And even then, I still dont think this game would run worth playing. Game itself is good. But optimisation is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrible.
I uninstalled it and bought The Elder Scrolls for the fourth time.
What a fantastic game! I have not picked up this game for so long, thinking it was a 1st person, combat focused Pillars of Eternity Edition. Time to set this right - this is literally the best thing POE fans can wish for after the original series was discontinued. It has just the perfect mix between combat / quest hunting / NPC interaction / skill development, with the level of deep, thought-through lore, detail and melancholic atmosphere and music that is so typical for the series. Next to that, combat feels great (even when switching between melee, bow + magic on the steamdeck) and the character creator got a more detail-oriented upgrade from the original series. Hoping we will get more of this!
While the game is acutally not that bad, yes it aint Skyrim but i enjoyed 3 playthroughs, i learned that i, a white male with a family, am not wanted as customer by Obsidian as their tweets pointed out. I cant return it but i can advice you to not buy if you are in my position because they dont want you to
Super unoptimized. Maybe 10 different enemy types. 6 Different weapons. Unique weapons are cool but every enemy is super spongy. Game was designed entirely for melee. Guns and spells were a afterthought.
boring
leider erst nach 16 Std. zum Entschluss gekommen: MONEY WASTE. Grafik ist gut, Atmosphäre ist ok. Aber das Skillsystem, das looten und die übertrieben langen Konversationen nerven extrem.
It starts up fine the first time. I liked the gameplay, even wanted to boot the game up twice, but could absolutely not. "Could not decompress shader group with Oodle". I looked for a solution online and I might need to start messing around with my Intel CPU and I am not going to do that. I expect better from an over 2 year old game.
