Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

My review is negative and will be negative just as it is for any other Atelier game cause devs have some sort of mental illness that does not let them implement widescreen on their games even-thought a lot o people complained about this!

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 5: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Overall this is a great J-RPG game but it's not really optimized for the PC when it was ported over. I do like the environment graphics, character designs, and story. The controls do have a learning curve. I played almost exclusively with a controller for this game. It can be a little overwhelming in the beginning to learn the game dynamics and how things work in the game's world. If you prefer open world exploration then you'll like this game. It's not really restricted for open world roaming around like some other RPGs where you can't do certain actions like jump but not in this game. My biggest disappointment with the game is that it's not optimized for PC hardware as mentioned earlier. Even playing with a high-end PC it still barely gets to 130fps at 1440p max settings. I feel the game is really meant to run on the "Standard" settings at 60FPS in either 1080p or 1440p which is a shame. I'll still recommend this game despite the poor optimization if you like J-RPGs and open world exploration.
Atelier Yumia is a disappointment of a game. While it does not feel like a traditional Atelier game, it still had potential on its own but still failed. The combat is way too easy with how you can endlessly spam evade to dodge any attack which gave no incentive to using guard and there was no more depth than just mashing buttons until you win a fight. I found that the story had potential to be good but didn't feel fleshed out. I would've loved to see more about
Yumia's past and her mother but it felt rushed towards the end. I also would've liked to see more build-up to make the final boss seem more like a big deal in the story but it feels like you just forget about him until you reach the end.
How empty Atelier Yumia felt empty in terms of writing, makes it feel like there will be a sequel to the game that will flesh out the story of the first game which is not a good impression. The open-world exploration felt more tedious than enjoyable with how ugly the environments looked depending on the climate. Some scenes and areas look completely ruined if the weather happened to be too bright or foggy. It also didn't seem like changing anything in the settings could fix that either. The graphics of the characters and battle effects were nice. Combat looks aesthetically pleasing at first but gets stale very fast. Some character designs are cool but are mostly forgettable. Atelier Yumia absolutely does not feel like a $70 game. Even Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator had a better story while being a free-to-play gacha game. Only buy this during a sale if you're interested. As for performance, game runs perfectly fine for me on the highest settings and I had no issues. After review: Just saw the announcement of Atelier Karia. Hope that improves on the flaws of Yumia and results in a better game.
Sadly I cannot recommend this game. I don't normally do reviews much but I did for the Atelier Ryza series which I thought was great and had high hopes for this game. But sadly I never got round to finishing this game so my review will not be a full 1 nor will it be complete, yet I feel the need to at least put something. Atelier Yumia fell flat rather quickly, yet I pushed in hopes it would improve but unfortunately I ended up taking a break which just dragged on and now I just don't even want to finish it. Compared to Ryze I had thought this game would do well, yet the story was rather of a drag and slow, the main character was rather bland. The combat was good, yet even on a high difficulty it had no balance and just kept getting easier as I progressed, I would leave upgrading my gear for as long as possible in hopes it would get challenging. The Alchemy system didn't feel as though it was as good as it could be, it had some nice perks to it but again fell flat. Sadly I would say more, but it's been so long I can't remember it all, but it would be more negative stuff.
