Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 5: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I just... can't. I tried coming back to it, but the game runs awful, alchemy is not fun, combat is not fun, exploration is pretty much a boring open world one. Characters seem nice, but it just isn't worth it when there is nothing else fun going on in this game. I might have gone through it if it wasn't open world and if the game actually ran well. I am not forcing myself to go through it any longer, I might come back to this game but I doubt it.
As much as I hate to say it, this might be the weakest Atelier game to date, but it is still an Atelier game, so it is still a good game despite the inherent flaws mentioned by other reviewers. The reason why I gave this game a thumbs up is simply because Gust isn't afraid of experimenting with new features, and I have a feeling that they might improve upon what they did to this game in the upcoming sequel. If you've played the previous games, you'd know how much they have improved in terms of technical fidelity throughout the years, and I'm proud to have supported Gust all these years and seeing them grow. THE GOOD 👍 One of the key strengths of this game is the exploration mechanic. While I do find exploration to be a bit buggy and repetitive at times I'd still think that this is the only Atelier game where I genuinely enjoy exploring the world. Does it have the prettiest world design of the entire franchise? No, but this is the closest you'd get to open-world Zelda-like exploration in an Atelier game, and that alone really shows that Gust has raised the bar so high for their future game releases. I think part of the reason why the exploration is so fun in this game is due to the fluidity of Yumia's movement. Her movement makes the exploration feel like a platforming challenge at every turn. Also, you'll get a bike at a certain point in the game, which opens up the possibility of Yumia's exploration a lot further. The bike cancels out fall damage which allows Yumia to use it as a shortcut to jump down from a height. Another big aspect that was tied to the exploration in this game is the puzzle. Yes, the puzzles are really repetitive and trivial but I guess Gust did it because they're afraid of making difficult games since they always stay true to their philosophy of making cozy/stress-free games. THE BAD 👎 The most disappointing part of this game comes from the synthesis mechanic, which is overly simplified from the previous games. In previous games, especially prior to the Secret series, synthesizing feels like a strategy and puzzle game combined. You really need to use your brain in order to craft strong items. The pain of figuring out a synthesis recipe and the pleasure of obtaining strong items is such a dopamine hit that I kinda miss those feelings after playing this game. It's a shame since a lot of people who bought this game are fans of the Atelier series, and they came out feeling betrayed due to the core mechanics being dumbed down by a significant margin. Another disappointing aspect of this game is the artstyle. Menu screen isn't illustrated anymore unlike the previous games (Ryza games also don't have illustrated menus but at least the GUI is a little more pleasing to the eye). The HUD looks a bit too minimalistic to my taste. I don't know why Gust went with this direction but hopefully they change that in the upcoming games. THE NEUTRAL 🟰 I almost want to hate on the combat of this game, but fortunately it does have its moments. Bossfights are pretty cool but once you have a strong item they don't even matter all that much anymore since you can just breeze through the game. I don't even have a chance to use Ultimate abilities (or mana surge or whatever they call it) because enemies and bosses died too quickly. That said I don't think that the combat is bad since I do enjoy fighting enemies in this game and trying out new gears. Base building is also pretty okay IMO. I just wish we had a better view during construction instead of controlling Yumia and having her blocking the path when I'm trying to build something especially when she is cornered against a wall. Still I can see that Gust is trying their best to make something different in this new game, and I applaud them for it. ... All in all, if you're a JRPG fan, this game will certainly be a somewhat new experience for you but if you're a long-time Atelier fan, this game might slightly disappoint you so be warned. I think everyone would at least enjoy the first 10 ~ 20 hours of this game so try out the demo first and if it interests you, go ahead and play it otherwise just wait for it to go on sale.
I'm not good at these, but for whatever it's worth, of the dozens of JRPGs I've started, this is one of the few to get me invested enough and interested enough to finish it all the way to the credits. I think they did a great job with the alchemy system in this game, I appreciated the relative straightforward nature of the synthesis. Is it perfect? No, of course not, it's a video game not the second coming of Christ or something. If you are a curious first timer or you're a long time Atelier fan, I think this game is worth picking up.
As someone who has played 14 previous Atelier games, I can understand why some people have mixed feelings about this one. There is less alchemy creation in this than any of the others. There are no time limits, alchemy quality doesn't seem too important, there is no alchemy rank and there is no currency. It's a chill game, with a heavy emphasis on exploration and regional development. In my opinion it's a refreshing change to the series formula, most of the previous games are the same. Learn alchemy, make stuff on time and turn in request after request. If you want difficult time-restrictive challenging games, look for earlier atelier games (I'm looking at you Arland saga).
I love the game, very different than your usual atelier games tho. I especially like the base building, although it's mostly just for aesthetic, spend hours building the bases. The alchemy is fun, but the trait blending is the one where it's getting complicated, but somewhat helpful. The difficulty spike was kinda challenging, but finally getting the hang of it nearing the end game. The problem for me, the map was kinda confusing, since it is free roam, a few spots are a bit hard to reach, or it is actually there but underground and all. Another thing, since everyone was fighting at the same time, it's kinda hard to see the special effects for the skills/ items because it's just too crowded, but the mana surge is cool.
