Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.57/day in the week to Aug 14 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
After Finishing Kiwami 3 and watching all cutscenes on Dark Ties on YouTube (Yeah it took me this long and I bought it on launch because I lost interest) I can say that I have mixed feelings about this game but they lean more towards positive for more reasons than the original. Pros: The combat is much better but with that it does make the game a lot easier, The kids in the orphanage have an actual whole fun side quest instead of just all of it being in the story, minigames like Cooking, Sewing Stuff, Doing Homework and Test with the kids, and a neat little Bug Catching minigame, There's a little more along with it but overall it is fun The Biker Chick minigame is kinda ok... I thought it was boring but it's there and overall it isn't insulting and can get you some extra game time. Customization is back for both you and for your funny as ♥♥♥♥ Flip Phone. There's stickers, and decor you can use on your phone as well. Cons: When this game launched it had a very frustrating crashing issue, I don't know if it still existed because I skipped every single cutscene when it kept happening the only one I saw was the very ending cutscene after the credits because I remembered it all from the original anyway, But imagine beating Chapter 9 in like 2 minutes XD You can completely upgrade Kiryu pretty quickly in the game and it does make the combat TRIVIAL even on normal. It's so sad how much easier the game is. It's like RGG Studio just kinda rushed this one out the door and then announce "No More Kiwami games guys, ♥♥♥♥ you" The ending is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT and kinda ruins the time line 100%, Makes me realize that Yakuza 3 Remastered is a better game overall due to that alone, If I could have good combat and Yakuza 3 Remastered smashed into one game, I'd be happy. But unfortunately they pull a MGS3 Time Paradox on us. Hence why Dark Ties exist in the first place... And lastly... Dark Ties... is extremely disappointing... if you are really curious, look up all the cutscenes on YouTube, it isn't worth the playthrough, especially after playing through all of 3 Kiwami, and having a fully upgraded Kiryu, I cannot force myself to finish it completely. It's pretty insulting how much they messed this game up with that. Overall: I went into this with an open mind and went blind to everyone complaining about the Hamazaki voice actor apparently being a part of Domestic Abuse or whatever the hell it was I was just more excited we were getting a remake of 3 and was invested in it for the better combat thinking that would be just enough for me. But instead I got hit with multiple crashes on launch making me save at least 343 times throughout the whole game in fear of cutscene crashes, and having to restart gauntlets due to a random crash happening, and hit with the most Time Paradox Ending of all time, and being fed another story that I ended up not caring about in the slightest. But with that being said I COULD recommend this on sale only... But I wouldn't ever pay full price for this. I got so much more fun and excitement from Pirate Yakuza than this game ever could give me, And that shows that they lost there edge they once had, Which makes me more worried for Stranger than Heaven in the future, I'm going to wait after release to see how it does, But I was more excited for Nagoshi's game... and now it seems like we will never see that either due to Netease. This game is a disappointing 5 out of 10 for me, I wanted to be generous with a 7 but I cannot forgive the fact how rushed this game feels... Pick it up on sale.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 6: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

30 hours so far, and it's already far better than the original even before i touched Mine's story. Battle is just night and day better than the old one, no contest. Some people says the ryukyu style is bad, even if it's true it's still a LOT better than the old gameplay. I don't really care about the face changes, the new one's like Rikiya and Hamazaki are played by famous actors. So it's good either way. There's a lot of other great tweaks, like you can skip most of the orphanage story if you don't like it. I remember people complained back then. Some mini games are changed for the best. Baddies battle are so fun compared to the old cabaret mini game for example. And most of the orphanage mini games are decent too. Some sub story maybe missing, but it's minor compared to the massive gameplay overhaul for the better.

It's alright. You're buying this game mostly for Dark Ties since Yakuza 3 Kiwami has been stripped of so much content from the original. Most of the original Y3 substories are gone.
You only need to complete the Coliseum to reach the Amon fight.
Interesting game Do not influenced by comment and score. It's a good game.

yakuza games are thwe best games thaT WERE EVER EVER creater
I just started playing Yakuza series this year in february, and im right after finishing mainstory of Kiwami3, can't wait to play Dark Ties. Im aware of changes from original game, still want to play original, but TBH Kiwami 3 is best yakuza game that ive played so far (started from 0(og),k1,k2 and now k3). I finally felt WHO AM I PLAYING, and how powerfull is Kiryu. Im not competionist, probably will never 100% yakuza gemes, but if I will do 100%save at any yakuza game it has to be Kiwami3, I didnt wanted to do side content in other games, I just hate when games dont have dubbed sections(I dont care that i dont understand Japanese, just want it dubbed or i will just skip), but in this one i just fell in love in Orphanage and Hasai Girls Club and put all my focus on that at the start of the game. For newcommers: If youre like me, starting from 0,kiwami 1,kiwami 2 then you really should try Kiwami 3. For us changes are not that bad to sleep on this one and play OG, you will have a lot of fun - you just have to be aware that they changed ending a bit, you can watch it later on YT, The biggest bad change is cutscene AFTER END CREDITS, so you can just skip it, close your eyes or just pretend that you didnt saw that, and watch OG Yakuza 3 ending BANG- you just played more fun version of Yakuza3 without its ,,defects". I know that there are less scenes in Orphanage(I dont think they matter that much, Those which stayed i think still gives you full picture), and less Substories( 30+ rather than 100+) But if there were 100+ I would never want to do them anyway. TLDR: I recommand this for newcommers who didnt played OG yakuza3 yet, I love the combat on this one - best one ive played.
