Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties

This game was really good, I wouldn't say better than Yakuza 0, but it is better than 1 and 2. The story is really good and the combat is also really good. Also Dark Ties is the best part of this game the combat is just so much better than the main game. It is also not hard to get all of the achievements so that is also a plus.

I just started playing Yakuza series this year in february, and im right after finishing mainstory of Kiwami3, can't wait to play Dark Ties. Im aware of changes from original game, still want to play original, but TBH Kiwami 3 is best yakuza game that ive played so far (started from 0(og),k1,k2 and now k3). I finally felt WHO AM I PLAYING, and how powerfull is Kiryu. Im not competionist, probably will never 100% yakuza gemes, but if I will do 100%save at any yakuza game it has to be Kiwami3, I didnt wanted to do side content in other games, I just hate when games dont have dubbed sections(I dont care that i dont understand Japanese, just want it dubbed or i will just skip), but in this one i just fell in love in Orphanage and Hasai Girls Club and put all my focus on that at the start of the game. For newcommers: If youre like me, starting from 0,kiwami 1,kiwami 2 then you really should try Kiwami 3. For us changes are not that bad to sleep on this one and play OG, you will have a lot of fun - you just have to be aware that they changed ending a bit, you can watch it later on YT, The biggest bad change is cutscene AFTER END CREDITS, so you can just skip it, close your eyes or just pretend that you didnt saw that, and watch OG Yakuza 3 ending BANG- you just played more fun version of Yakuza3 without its ,,defects". I know that there are less scenes in Orphanage(I dont think they matter that much, Those which stayed i think still gives you full picture), and less Substories( 30+ rather than 100+) But if there were 100+ I would never want to do them anyway. TLDR: I recommand this for newcommers who didnt played OG yakuza3 yet, I love the combat on this one - best one ive played.

[h1] 死に様！死に様！ [/h1] 全実績解除したのでレビュー。 steamで極1→0→極2プレイ済み。 無印版を10年以上前にプレイしていたので、どんな話だったかプレイしながら思い出せていきました。 下記、良かった点と悪かった点をレビューしていきます。 【良かった点】 ・UIは抜群に良かったです。極1&2よりも遊びやすくなっていたし、 　かゆいところに手が届いていてストレスフリーでした。 ・ツッパリの龍やアサガオライフなどの無印版に無いストーリーが追加されていて 　新鮮な遊びがあって面白かったです。 ・主題歌やBGMが良かったです。プレイリストに登録しました。 ・実績面でいくと達成目録全制覇がなくなって実績全解除しやすくなっています。 　達成感は少し薄くなってしまうかもしれませんが、このゲームのボリュームで目録全制覇は 　気が狂うかもしれません。 【悪かった点】 ・戦闘システムは駆け引きが重要になった事により、少しテンポは悪くなったかなと思います。 　爽快感を求めるユーザーにとっては少しストレスに感じるかもしれません。 ・最も悪い点としてメインストーリーにあると思います。 　無印版の記憶と違う部分が出てきて、こんな話だったかな？と思いました。 　エンディングについてはもう無茶苦茶です。 　攻めの姿勢で作り直すというスタッフのコメントを見ましたが、 　サッカーだったらオフサイドです。攻めすぎです。 　外伝のストーリーもそこまで良いと私は感じませんでした。 私がレビューしている時点で、全実績解除したユーザーが10%を超えているので、 皆さん結構やりこんでいるんだなと思いました。 それだけ期待が込められたゲームの評価が賛否両論になっているのも頷ける出来栄えでした。 極シリーズはとりあえずこれが最後っぽいですが、これ以上出して欲しいとは思いません。 来年の「STRANGER THAN HEAVEN」には期待したいですね！！

As someone who played the original Yakuza 3, I'd say Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties is better. I'm not one to compare both the original and the remake of a game, but personally, Yakuza Kiwami 3 is good for new players. People mention the camera filter is blue, the ending changed, most substories were removed, and the boss fights are soulless, but someone who's new to the Yakuza series would not even notice and they shouldn't even know now that this game is out and the original is unlisted. I'm glad they changed the ending due to the original Yakuza 3 ending not making any sense by having Kiryu stabbed when he's totally fine in the next game, Yakuza 4. I see why RGG changed the ending for Yakuza 3 and I'm glad they fixed it. Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties made me change my opinion on this game; before I hated this game, but now it's 3rd on my top 3 best Yakuza games.
