Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 14 → 0.2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

You play as 4 different nameless idiots that you have to create yourself. I don't want to play as a hivemind I want to play as a specific character. If you are looking for a fallout 1/2 successor this is not it.
Apparently picking the Ag Center to save was the wrong decision because after spending hours working my way through the obnoxious fights and mechanics, you get to fight a boss that kills 1-2 of your rangers in the first turn no matter what you do. To start the fight, you have to have a conversation with him first, which means one of your characters has to get in his face for him to murder. You think, maybe I can fire first, maybe I can position better, maybe I can put a melee guy in his face so his aim should be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up (cause it happens to you if a character gets in melee) If you fire first, you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up by shooting an innocent (he isn't agro till after convo) You cant position better because you have to move to start the convo, also even if you crouch the rest of your group, they randomly stand up during the convo even if you are on solo command mode. Putting a melee guy in his face makes it easier for him to kill 2 people in the same round, since melee guy will take 2 crits to the face and go down allowing him to nuke a second character before you get to move at all. 8+ reloads and I couldn't avoid him downing one of my guys. One time I decided to power through after he downed my primary ranger, and see if I could finish the fight to save them before they bleed out. I figure I should try to use precision shots to hit his arms and disable his weapon, which was a good idea in practice, except doing this and disabling his pistol, makes it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ explode like a bomb going off, with a several tile radius. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ WHY. Guess what? The explosion straight up killed my downed ranger for a quick game over. Seriously, this is the first major quest and only one step above the easiest difficulty, and the whole ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ show grinds to a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ deadstop. I was enjoying avoiding looking up guides for the most part, because doing that ♥♥♥♥ breaks immersion for me and makes me care less about the story and just see it as a series of braindead clicks I have to repeat from some other player who figured out the right pattern of clicks. Even if I keep trying and manage to get past this part, the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ experience I was looking for has shattered and i can no longer be bothered to give as much of a ♥♥♥♥ about the story or characters or anything that I did, because it's no longer a story based game, it's just some lame min/max fest that you HAVE to follow optimal everything and basically play the game in a single way determined by people on a forum somewhere. ♥♥♥♥ that nonsense, this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pathetic. ♥♥♥♥ like this just has made me hate video games in general. Like I'd rather go do work ♥♥♥♥ in real life and make money because thats far more enjoyable and rewarding than playing video games anymore designed by ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who don't understand their own game, playtest it, or come back to fix glaring problems with it because they know there will always be enough ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fanboys around to fight on their behalf with a never ending tirade of "get guds"

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Having played Wasteland 3, Wasteland 2 feels rough to me. Aside from being generally dated, it lacks so many QoL features. Nevertheless, it has many things I want from a CRPG game. Varied ways to solve an issue, some narrative choices and many endings. However, I don't really feel invested towards the character/story, partly due I have played some CRPGs with more immersive story. P.S. I don't know why Steam shows my playtime for regular edition, but I have about 33 hours for director cut edition.
The original Fallouts worthy successor

3 > 2 if weird controls bothers you. 2 plays more like an old school CRPG, whereas 3 plays like a CRPG that took lots of inspiration from XCOM. Both are pretty open ended, and you can create some interesting builds with each.
In many ways this is better and more fun than Wasteland 3
Not a bad game but i would definitely not recommend it, i have spent 120+ hours in W2DC and there are some positives, but most game mechanics are simply broken. positives: - decent story, not great but i still take it as positive - rpg elements, skills and character build are good - i had some fun with this game negatives: - % chance in this game is clearly done by someone that failed all mathematics subjects since the elementary school and doesn't understand what % is - you skills are hard cap at 10, trinkets are useless above 10 skill, which is ridiculous when skill on level 10 tell you you have 60% change with lvl10 encounter and you still find encounter that will tell you you have 12% chance to pass (2 safes so far computer science/alarm disable , both at 10 with 10 intelligence alarm show 62% computer science 12%) - no control over your pets, you cant even put your small rat pet into your backpack to keep it safe, - armor calculation is ridiculous as well, enemies has high armor and your weapons does ridiculously low damage if the penetration is not quite high enough, you can decrease enemy armor with precision shots but you cannot destroy their armor just lower it by 2 points - your armor rating doesn't matter in most cases as well, gunslingers with low penetration pistols or smg enemies deal high damage despite your armor rating (metal conductive armor at least works a bit better but you don't want to wear it against energy weapons) - loot mechanics are utter garbage, you can kill as many enemies as you want you will never get their weapon or armor, in some rare case you find a weapon on the corpse but it is just some low weapon and actually not the weapon he used during fight - forced choice, eg. decide between AG center and highpool ? what about splitting team 3 & 3 and do both at the same time? No because you don't really have a normal choice in the game. with all the issues and bugs in this game i cant see why people rate this game so highly i would not give it more than 6 out of 10
