Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.86/day in the week to Sep 1 → 6.43/day in the week after.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

In Voidtrain you step on board of what soon becomes your new home and a fully fledged train along the ride. Meanwhile you follow a wonderous story that is often joyful, sometimes serieous and sometimes sad with light inspirations by norse mythology. Story & Gameplay: The game starts with a nice and funny cartoonish intro cinematic. After that you find youself in a mysterious shed filled with lots of unknown stuff and tools. The narrator explains and often comments what happens, what might be the next step, and how he sees things. This often happend in a funny and entertaining way. It also keeps you engaged throughout the story and helps you understand things. No after a couple of different steps you then find yourself stranded in the void with a platform on rails that can move, stop, and be build upon. This is your new mobile base. As the game progresses you will unlock many new stations, parts, decorations and more. In the beginning you will be guided on what needs to be done first so you never will be stuck. The big difference to many other survival builder games is that there is only so much space to be build upon. Even after upgrading the train length and add more wagons the space is finite. Then there is a rather strict mesh around every construction that shows you how much space is needed, but this also prevents from building really compact and small. Some things take up a lot of space but actualy just needing very little space. This sometimes has a mixed feelint to it because it often seems like there would be a lot more possible to place then there actualy is. Later things become even more of an issue when you start to build walls around your wagons. You will unlock certain styles throughout the journey. Once you build these per wagon you are intrigued to also build certain things on the walls inside your cabins. But here lies the biggest drawback of the building system. I always compare these type of games back to RAFT, because it has this great construction system where you can nearly build limitless on ground and walls. Here unfortunately you cant. There is an invisible "grid?" that prevents from really leavereaging building on the walls. Even simple lighting on the ceiling or the walls can bea really tricky and difficult to build as in the one place you can build a wall lamp and suddenly on the other side of the cabin you can´t. It is never really clear what causes the issues. And even trying to relocate the whole interieur wont help at times. Nothing of this is really gamebreaking but it could have been so much better if there would be more freedom to build things. Also if you forget to rip apart things you attached to the inside of the cabins and going to change the style of it you have to destroy it and rebuild it with a different style. Meaning alle the decorations and the ressources you used for them are then gone. So keep an ey out for that before changing the look of your entire train. The story progresses rather slow but fits pretty good with the actual game progression that happens through research. After you build that you can advance as fast or slow as you like. You will unlock more stations, more decorations, some permanent bonuses for your character, and ultimately, the big engine upgrades. Once you figure out how to sustain an efficient research cycle you will progress pretty quick. Only held back by certain materials that you often only enounter after a specific point in the story. This at times make it wise to not catch every last piece of wood or metal scrap but to pull the leaver down and push that engine to the max. This is a lot of fun, especially later when there are some rivaling trains try to hunt you and try to board your train. Later there will be also things to increase your carrying capacity and alos many more weapons and weapon moddings comes into play. Although generally, if you found the best suited for you it is ofthen wise to keep this or the needed module for the gun as long as possible. The modding itself feels not completely fleshed out so you wont know what upgrade makes more senes a times and some of em are a straight downgrade. Still it is a nice little addition. As you progress there comes also more an more automation in form of lootcatchers and the roofleemo. I could write a complete article just about them but please discover them on your onw. They come in many different forms with different bonuses. Generaly erveryone can work on every position but they work better on certain stations. The lootcatchers on the other hand help you gather raw materials so that you dont have to go after every piece of floating metal and wood wich is a great help later on. There will also be some small puzzle areas where you need to open the next path or find the right symbols to open something. At times it feels like nothing really advances in terms of the story but if you got a nice flow through the sectors you will have a constant pregression until the end. Visuals: With the game being an Unreal Engine game it is absolotely good looking. Nothing crazy spectacular but very good. A bit cartoonish, but with a pretty coole theme and nice lighting. It fits. We got no real issues. The animations look nice and overall things look and feel great. There could have been a bit more variety in terms of the void sectors which start to repeat after a while with only just the overall lighting theme changing but there could have been done a little bit more. But that is just a minor point. Audio: Audio is well done. The voice of the narrator is very good. Sounds and effects are also well made and nothings is missing here. There could have been a couple of more tracks just while your cruising along the rail but its not like there is none. Ofthe through story interuptions or other situations there is some music in the game. Your character does not speak whatsoever. But in return you have the rofleemos that play some of the coolest music i have had in a game for some time. Thes tracks and with the instruments they use are absolutely catchy and had us huming them for months without noticing. Go and join them if you like. :-) Multiplayer/Coop: You can play the game together with up to 3 friends which means a total of 4 players together. The game greatly benifits from the cooperative gameplay as you can support each other alot and take different roles as one could only go for the smaller ressources flying around while one only operates the train and another one cares about building and caring about the train and so on. It also makes fights a lot easier. Sure the world scales with the player count but not that extreme so that having more players is always an advantage against just one. And there are some nice minigames that you are able to play while waiting for reaching the next depot or story part. These are also well made and can take up your time very fast. A blast to play with friends. Summary: Even with all the smaller issues mentioned, i really liked the game overall. It was a good time with my friends and the building and upgrading and researching dragged us in as always. The story also got us hooked, and kept us engaged enough to let us want to see it through until the end. And the mechanics that are there and that the game builds upon are solid and work. It could have been much more but you could say that for a lot of games. I have deep respect for devs to push on and give the game a nice ending instead of abandoning it like many others do after the main coin is made. There was also a DLC released that was free for a short duration after the release which expands a bit more on the roofleemos. So overall i do recommend, if possible, get it on sale.
First off, I like this game to about 90%. Graphics is pretty good, environment art is spectacular, music is great, Narrator is mood. Story is mostly alright with one or two points that left me going "daaamn..." While in chapter 1, the game crashes incredibly hard. This was present in the earliest EA versions and now in 1.05 as well. Combat is part of the game and it is half-half good and bad. If you get an auto-shotgun and go around the depot, it's fun. The "special weapons" are worthless. The automatic is pretty meh, the "sniper" type semi-automatic type is... forgettable at best. You have a revolver with infinite ammo at least. From here on spoilers mainly for story things that put me down, and some related gameplay.
You get a single good upgrade to the revolver, which makes it a one-♥♥♥♥ annihilator cheat weapon. That you use for about 20 seconds when you receive it, then it's taken away. You get it back for the final boss fight, where this weapon is the only thing that can hurt the boss, at about 3% health/hit... The boss fight itself is great mechanically, but all other parts feel rushed. You are suddenly thrown into the final boss, not your choice, you fight a cool fight with a "one-shot" weapon taking 300 shots to bring down the boss, and NOW MEGA SPOILERS When you would get the last phase, the narrator shows up "sup I'm god (the Allfather Odin, some Cthulhu looking guy snaps his fingers, boss fight done, teleports you into a cardboard set, says bye-bye, and you can quit or continue an endless train run...
In short, and amazing build-up, one of the best boss fights I ever had, but the devs didn't know how to close the story, so decided to cut you off with the most anti-climactic abrupt goofy thing possible. It just really leaves a bad taste. The whole game is a bit goofy, but ending it like this is... a crime. I mean it turned off from gaming for a while I think...
