Hack and Slash
A frantic hack and slash, which unfortunately gets very samey after 20 hours of playtime. fun and very very cool, compelling mechanics and things going on all the while with variety of monsters to flambe, electrocute, laser or just plain bash. Has all the things of a single player game going for it with the exception of feeling immersed and hungry for more. Not as good as Diablo, but far more pyrotechnics and jingle.
Destructable enviromentals, smooth as butter gameplay. Works well with KB&Mouse or Controller. Voiced by the voice actor who plays Geralt in "The Witcher" game series. A ton of content and replayability. Difficulty starts to really ramp up around level 14 or so.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

A good game with many hours of gameplay, it's a spinoff of the Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing franchise, good graphics and decent performance. But, the game is boring at sometime... Character doesn't evolve fast, weapons are weake and has low attack speed at the beginning. Dungeon bosses are stronger and are necessary long fight to defect him. You must jump and run like a gazelle for long time to survive these ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bosses, it's ridiculous... it's embarrassing...this is boring... Don't take me wrong, I like this genre of games, but Victor Vran, I definitely didn't like it. It's a game to buy on a good sale, be advised.
I don't know why this game has very positive reviews... It is an average game at best. The story is okay, not too fancy but still entertaining. The progression is a mess, you almost get the best weapons around level 20 then it's capped and you won't get weapons with a lot more damage. If you want to improve it, you'll go to the transmutation but still, the damages are completely garbage compared to the mobs HP & damages. I played it on HARD that's maybe the worst experience of an ARPG you can get. You never feel like you're getting powerful as you progress, it's the opposite, you're getting smashed really hard. I've found the game challenging with some great mechanics, but it's far too bugged and unbalanced to enjoy the challenges : - The pathfinding is completely broken and sometimes you'll just run into your death because for some reasons your character just runs into the mobs while you're trying to dodge, so you have to spam the dodge to get away. Enjoy dying because the game is coded with their tiny toes. - The hitboxes are completely bugged too, you think you're outside of the range? Nah, just get slammed outside of the area of damage, it's fun! - The verticality is also a big problem, sometimes you're getting stuck because for some reasons you're too close to the ledge or you're bouncing over & over again because you're character doesn't find the pathing. What's great is that you're gonna get stomped by ranged mobs, that aggro from 100km away. Special mention to the caves where the spiders are throwing ♥♥♥♥ at you while you can't go down :) - It is unresponsive. You want to quickly swap weapon, attack, roll, go back in... trying your best to manage the fight? Well, NO. You can't because sometimes the controls aren't responding as fast as you'd want and you have to press twice or thrice the keys/buttons. Adding to that the unprecise pathfinding/hitboxes, you're in for a treat. - The game is unbalanced. You want to have fun in melee? Well forget it. Most of the mobs will just smash you if you come at them. Best weapon? Lightning gun, no doubt. The rest is just ten times worse, except maybe the hammers. The rest is just completely useless. The scythe as a 28sec cooldown on it's best attack, while the hammer as 12 & 8s, same with the gun, 8 & 8s... What is this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥? - The ultimate skills are almost one dimensional, there are some OP ones you get and the rest is trash or barely has any uses. - The card system could have been good but again, it's suffering from the imbalanced introduced by the things described above. - Mobs are spawning in cluttered areas with sometimes NO WAY to escape / dodge because of the environment. The placements are so bad sometimes it just completely kills the challenge. Honestly it's was a pain to finish, it's so bugged and unbalanced that it's not even fun to play. Maybe in easy or normal modes, it could be somewhat fun because the bugs would be less punishing; but if you want a great challenge with responsive & smooth combat, then it's not this game. It could have been a great game because there are some really cool ideas but it's badly executed.
Органичный и стильный Виктор. Шляп можно было бы конечно и побольше.
Short and to the point: I played this in co-op over a decade after release. In 2026, it’s a hard recommendation when games like Grim Dawn and Path of Exile 2 exist. Honestly, I’d probably rather replay Diablo 2 (or even Diablo 1 if we're riding on its nostalgia). It’s not bad exactly, it's a solidly average ARPG, but nothing about it felt especially innovative or memorable. The narrator was by far the low point, though. He was rarely funny, never stopped talking, and created a confused atmosphere where the game never really settled on whether it was meant to be dark and grim, or a goofy stroll through a parody of the genre. A solid pass from me due to there being far superior alternatives.
Fun Diablo-like game to pass the time. The default controls are better than any other game of this genre I have played. Also has Geralt of Rivia. You can't really go wrong with this one, though had a bit of a weak story. 7.8/10
Development will not end with the release. We will continue to improve and update Victor Vran with free features and content. Development has ended, no updates in far too long, no hope of getting the dlc's on sale, haven't seen a sale in a loooong time. Fun game tho, so sad.
