Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Valheim is a collaborative exploration and survival game for 1-10 players set in a procedurally generated world inspired by Norse mythology. Craft powerful weapons, construct elaborate halls, and slay mighty foes to prove yourself to Odin!

Discover an immersive procedurally generated world, with different biomes that each have their distinct environments, unique resources and dangerous enemies. Become a Viking and sail the open seas in search of lands unknown, alone or with up to nine friends!

The Tenth World has been corrupted by hateful forces, in the shape of mighty regional bosses known as the Forsaken. Hone your skills with axes, blades and bows, and prepare yourself by crafting the very best equipment – for it is only by defeating these Forsaken that you will advance in your progress and prove yourself to the Allfather.

Raise Viking longhouses and build bases that offer reprieve from the dangers ahead. Whether you build a small shelter, an entire village or a mountain-side fortress, defence and structural integrity are important, as is decorating it for maximum comfort!

As you discover new materials, you will learn new recipes for crafting, building and cooking – all that a Viking might need! The food system is rewarding rather than punishing, granting you boons and benefits depending on what you eat, and is directly tied to the combat system, where your health and stamina might be just the thing that makes a difference between life and death.
Community-translated languages
In addition to the officially supported languages, Valheim has several community-translated languages. As the name would suggest, these are all translated by fans and members of the community, and the process is frequently ongoing. Thus, we cannot guarantee the quality or completeness of any specific translation.
Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

Shall I go to work? Or be a viking? Ummmm......VIKING!! Every house I build makes me want to build a better house, then I explore and every hill I climb makes me see a better place where I should have built my home. Then I find dungeons, crypts and mines and become obsessed with clearing those and then I prep for the bosses. And then I get overwhelmed and plant carrots. And repeat. I LOVE THIS GAME!
While I love Valheim, I can't recommend it right now if you're trying to play on a dedicated server. There are so many bugs, including vast swaths of land not generating until quite a bit of time has passed (or if you run the genloc command), and even then the land might be entirely missing the dungeons. On my brand new 1.0 world we have found one single Frost Cave, while 14(!!) others that we should have found never generated in. Several Burial Chambers also never spawned in. The dedicated server channel on the Valheim Discord is full of people having problems like these, plus connection issues, massive lag, and more. If you play locally practically none of these problems exist, and the bugs are comparatively minor. However if you try to play on a dedicated server you're likely to have a very, very bad time. So until they get that patched, I just can't recommend Valheim.

The game is very high quality, the graphics are good the only thing is some plants are 2D apart from that it is a very good game.
Minecraft, but for adult.
This game is so brutal and/or grindy to the point of where it is unfun. It has some amazing stuff in it, and I love a lot of the mechanics of the game like farming, base building, crafting, and even the combat/bosses at times. The problem is that they force you to grind the ♥♥♥♥ out of this game even when you 2x or 3x the loot. How am I making it easier and it is still such a insane grind? Not to mention that the bosses are roided up with health, even on co-op. You are expected to die at least two times even while you are fully upgraded. The jumps between biomes are such an ass kicking that it made me quit. Ashlands made me quit. It is boring as ♥♥♥♥ to not be able to even get on the beach without being constantly harassed or killed. You need to balance your game.
game crashes right before autosave comes through almost every time. im tired of losing time recovering time loss while recovering time. Games been in early access for 5 years and despite tons of improvements, game still breaks too often
The game currently runs quite poorly on AMD systems. I experienced frequent crashes, and the frame rates are unexpectedly low for a title that does not seem very graphically demanding. It feels like the game needs a optimization patch to stabilize performance for AMD users.
Its pretty much a perfect game I love playing it so much
I know this will probably be an unpopular opinion, but I just can't recommend this game when there are much better options in the same style out there. It's just not for me, everything feels so clunky and dated, I thought 1.0 would be better.
This game is ass, and I'm mostly leaving a negative review because it's ass mechanics have invaded practically every game in the genre.
