Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 14 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

a great game for every CRPG enthusiast I would love to have a bit more of a relationship aspect since the Wrath/Loyality system is so great and has such an amazing RP potential. But thats nitpicking, the storyline and the depth of politcal decisions is awesome. A great CRPG shines with replayability imo and Tyranny has a lot of that.

very fun but also a very difficult game...... still enjoyed it tho and i loved the story
Tyranny is the perfect length for an RPG. If you're somebody who has nothing to do but play games for 12 hours a day I can see why you would think this is too short, but for somebody with a life this is an amazingly paced RPG. One of the few that doesn't get too repetitive by the end. The story is dramatic and fluid. There is very little meaningless meandering, everything feeds into an epic, dramatic narrative and it doesn't drag at all. Other RPGs have a problem where your build takes a long time to come online and then it just sort of stagnates. You just get a stronger version of what you had before, it just gets boring. In this game once you reach that point it starts to wrap up. Your choices can branch the story in very significant ways during key moments, transforming the way events play out, which is only possible because the game is not 100+ hours long with tons of filler-like locations to slog through. For example, BG3 is a really fun game, but the vast majority of choices are just for flavour. There's almost no significant branching in the story, because how the hell can there be when the game is 100+ hours long? Tyranny makes it matter in a way that other games can't due to overinflated length and scope. Also, many smaller decisions you make early on in Tyranny may have important late-game consequences, which I think is great. Overall this is the best-paced RPG I've ever played. It has awesome art, fun gameplay (for once I don't hate the RTwP combat in a CRPG), epic atmosphere, great world-building and is overall a memorable and unique RPG experience.
Офигенно. Глубокий сюжет и хорошо прописанные персонажи. Надо читать много текста!

One of the best Obsidian games ever made - despite the abrupt ending, the writing and the premise (being a messenger of a tyrant dictactor) is one of the most unique ones in gaming. Very recommended for any CRPG fan.
Jest ok! Nie tylko dla fanów Pillars of Eternity.
A competent CRPG that turns the usual themes of the genre on their head. It was fun to embrace being the bad guy and decide the fate of terratus. The companion combos and faction/weapon abilities turn what would otherwise be stale combat into combat I looked forward to engaging with. The lack of enemy variety pulled it down for me a little bit, along with limited voice acting and visual flair with the characters. The lore and world building is the usual great work from Obsidian and kept me wanting to reach the conclusion. Easy recommend for fans of the genre.
