This is one of the most restricting and limiting city builders I've ever played. It's as if every decision the developers made was to limit how you could play. Pick any Tropico game other than this one.
The game is ok, its decent but its the same game using the same means to dredge money from you. The game is a decent base, but soon you see a DLC that sort of adds a bit here and there, this is the 5th version yet there is 12 DLC packs, is this addition or simply taking the piss and you for the ride ? Its getting Paradox levels of DLC stupid, you decide if you want to keep paying for content updates, again the base game is good but the devs keep going paid DLC heavy,

Start on Tropico 4. Kinda the high point, Tho 3 is cheaper and tells you how its going to go. But here they are drifting. No real ideas and the flavor of being Justin Trudeau's Father's lover/baby daddy is played out. So get if you love this series, otherwise why get the collection?
I was gonna recommend this game to other players but then it crashed while I was placing a logging camp. In all seriousness you should still buy this game but that was annoying

Что могу сказать. Грустно! Грустно и тяжело осознавать, что в игре с гипертрофированной политической составляющей, весь политический функционал КРАЙНЕ не понятен. Причины, по которым аборигены хватаются за калашников, до сих пор остаются для меня загадкой и каждый раз я искренне удивляюсь исходу той или иной партии. Игра буквально заваливает тебя цифрами, заданиями, статистикой, но все это абсолютно не информативно и не формализовано. 30кг назад я играл в тропико 4, поэтому помню ее довольно скудно, но одно наличие партии националистов и рабочей системы отлова мигрантов, уже делают эту игру на две головы выше. Загрузили игру сменой эр, заданиями, перманентными перестрелками, ЧС и прочим мусором, но сделать хотя бы приблизительно понятную вкладку с производительностью (сколько ресурсов поступает в месяц, сколько выходит), довольством населения (столько то без мед помощи, столько то не могут протиснуться к служителям культа и тп) оказалось невозможным. В общем грустно.

Я построил им ночной клуб а в благодарность они проголосовали за другого. Игра топ рекомендую не пожалеете.
