Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Break free of the grid in Town to City: a cozy city builder that invites you to create a beautiful and bustling community.
Freely place houses, shops, and amenities and natural elements to delight your residents and encourage new families to move in. As your population grows, so can your ambitions: create multiple towns that can grow alone or thrive together, helping the whole region develop and prosper.
In story or sandbox mode, you're free to build at your own pace, placing each flower bed with pixel precision, or prioritise growing your economy and developing your town into a thriving city.
Truly grid-less building sets you free to lay out your town however you like. Plan out carefully ordered rows of houses and city districts, or grow outwards organically with residences, amenities, parks and plazas connected by winding streets and alleys. Freely shape the land beneath your feet with terraforming tools for elevation, water, and terrain.
Beautify your settlement to your heart's content with a plethora of customisation options. Set up lighting, plant flowers and wooded parks, and decorate houses and buildings to complement or contrast. With gorgeous voxel graphics as a base and plenty of tools for fine-tuning, it's easy to create something beautiful that you'll want to capture with the in-game photo mode or stroll through in first-person view.
As your town flourishes, you’ll need to meet the needs of your growing population. Provide amenities that will cater for everyone – from workers to artisans and the bourgeoisie – alongside specific requests by individual residents. Get to know each person as they arrive in town, and watch them settle down to form new families in the homes you built for them with pets and livestock by their side.
Assign workers to jobs, research new buildings and decorations, and boost your sleepy settlement into a bustling centre of commerce. As you expand beyond the bounds of your first town, you'll pursue new developments in farming and tourism by building new towns, all connected by trade and travel routes.

Brilliant game, has a very easy to understand progression system. There's always things to work towards and it makes the game fun and challenging at times. I've done few different cities now, and it's always a relaxing experience.
This is how you make a city builder.

The citybuilder I always wanted
pretty ass game
Basically, this game is beautiful and it is fun. It looks beautiful and I indeed hope the developers add more to the game. I am suggesting a new port in Rosecarmaree or something along the coast that can allow a new way for people to arrive. All in all, buy it. It's plain lovely.
I can highly recommend the game. It's about building a cozy french town in the late 19th century. It has great visual polish and it gives the perfect vibes. I got hooked by an early access demo and the game has just developed further from there. This isn't to say that it's free from design flaws, e.g. late game tours are bit raw still. Regardless the overall game is very good and has clear structured content for about 10 hours. There is a lot more of content for city painter and it believe one can create very polished cities given enough time. Charmingly even amateur cities start to look very vibrant as game integrates decorating as a core mechanic, which is a phenomenal design idea.
I absolutely adore this game, it is gorg as well as being somewhat challenging. I have now played through and gotten every city to max level, though I wish I went slower and truly made things beautiful. I love love love this game, one of my new faves
I'm usually not the biggest city builder fan, but this one is SO much fun. It speaks to my artistic side more than any other game in the genre. Would def recommend if you want a cozy game with a pleasant soundtrack to relax to.
