Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

I'm changing my review to negative since they rolled out an update to this finished game made by mobile developers that added a ton of bugs into the game that ruined it. There was no reason for this update. Aspyr fix this! My review will remain negative until they fix the damage they have done.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This remastered version is great but it's messing a lot of details and improvements specially with brightness and visuals, there still a lot of dark levels and places. Which is unfortunately disappointing at some point.
Incredible job. This is an excellent remaster. 100% recommended for old a new fans of these games.
It's Tomb Raider 1 and 2, a couple of masterpieces. You probably won't find better puzzle solving adventure game
Recomendo demaissss
this remaster was perfect and then they ruined it with an entirely unnecessary “patch” riddled with bugs, low quality outfits, and a whole host other issues. review is gonna stay like this until this is somehow reversed. please, fix your game.

I’ve just replayed the first of the old Tomb Raider games, and today I realize you can really tell it was made by guys… I mean, Lara Croft is an impossible character, in the sense that: She’s the ultra-hot and extremely intelligent heroine who can climb using only her hands and feet, move boulders weighing tons, and kill everything, even the undead 😂. She survives explosions straight out of ’90s action movies. I can understand that, at the time, the technology didn’t allow for all the details we see in more recent games. But still, everything feels a bit exaggerated. She represents “toxic masculinity.” When I was a child, she was my idol and I used to play the games all the time, because I didn’t see women like that in real life 😂. She inspired me a lot growing up, but today I realize she’s an impossible character 😂. I managed to finish the first game, even though after a while it becomes very boring… The gameplay mechanics and the game design are flat; there are too many puzzles, they’re too long, and since everything is oversized, it takes way too long to finish. There isn’t really a well-written story either, which makes the whole thing even more boring… I tried using the new controls to move the character, but honestly it doesn’t make much sense: even though it’s remastered, those controls are hard to use in such disproportionate environments. Honestly, I don’t know if I’ll finish the whole trilogy… From what I remember, there isn’t a huge difference in the game design throughout the series. I think I’ll play the sixth one, which, out of all the Tomb Raider games, is probably the only one I’ve never played! “Rise of the Tomb Raider” and “Shadow of the Tomb Raider” were the ones I liked the most, though… From what I remember, she felt more human, and everything was more interesting to play, with better storytelling. By the way, I’d recommend playing them if you’re part of a younger generations and want to study game design or just explore gaming history… I mean, these games are part of video game history. Lara Croft is now a cultural icon, you can see her in movies too, but it was the first game that truly established the character.
This is a game for fans. It's exactly the same game as it used to be (although I am ALMOST sure they made the timers more lenient?). What's new is the graphics which you can toggle between old and new, and the controls. Gameplay -------- It's exactly what it used to be. If you have never played these games, this isn't your average modern action game. Every level is basically a puzzle, using a combination of switches, platforming and (abysmal) combat. Every step can be your last, so SAVE SAVE SAVE. There is a lot of trial and error in these games. Platforming in these games is less about action, it's more about finding out how to get somewhere with the jump mechanics you have. You often have to line up exactly and do one specific jump just the right way to get where you need to go. Therefore you need to really learn your moves. There is a ton of switches and buttons (often timed), sometimes to a comical extent. Pull a switch to open a door to reach a new switch to open another door to reach a button to reach a switch to reach another switch. As a result you are spending a lot of time in some levels, going back and forth, trying to figure out how to get somewhere and to find what you missed to continue. A small tip: Do not try to apply any kind of real world logic to these levels. There isn't a single level that even remotely makes sense. Switches in the most absurd places that trigger stuff at the other side of the level. Boulders that roll out of the walls in a freaking opera house for some reason. Enemies apparently spending their days in completely isolated places, simply waiting for you to encounter them. Keys that are somehow at the bottom of a lake. These are pure video game levels, so strictly apply video game logic only. Graphics -------- I like them. They're nothing to write home about, but they do look better than the original, and most importantly, they keep the feeling of the games. The original graphics are rather rough now, especially the NPC models. I do like that you can toggle between them seemlessly during gameplay. It sometimes even helps during gameplay. In the old graphics items sometimes stick out more, while the new graphics are much brighter in dark places which helps a ton. Retro graphics are limited to 30 fps which is unforgivable in my book, but luckily a Nexus mod helped me out there. Controls -------- When I first started, I couldn't get into the modern controls at all. They are not explained AT ALL, and the tutorial doesn't even mention them and talks about the original tank controls regardless of the control scheme you activated. This is an oversight I can't understand and can't forgive. I had to look up a guide to understand what I'm supposed to be doing. I switched back to the old tank controls on the keyboard for an hour (getting into it again was surprisingly easy), and after I got the "groove" again, in combination with that guide, I could switch to modern controls using a controller. I like it. Mostly. I do wish I could properly sidestep. But other than that it works fine. Recommendation? --------------- If you know the originals and liked them: Yes. Go for it. This is exactly the same experience, just looking better, and - once you get into them - with more modern controls. You can still go for the original tank controls if you like though. You can even ignore everything and play the original game. If you have never played these games: I don't know man, I really don't. You might like it. You might absolutely hate it. It will feel different from modern games, that's for sure. Give it a try. If you get into them, they're rewarding. But be prepared for what you're getting yourself into.
