Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 11 → 0.67/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

In 182 AD, the imperial court is plagued by deep-seated corruption, and the common folk suffer through endless hardships. Hampered by factionalism, officials fail to take action, leaving the people to endure their struggles.
You can play as either an original character or a historical warlord, striving to build your military forces and connections before chaos unfolds.
You have the choice to roam as a lone wolf or use your knowledge of history to recruit numerous famous generals to your cause.
The game's worldview draws from the authentic historical records of "Records of the Three Kingdoms," romanticized narratives from "Romance of the Three Kingdoms," and popular modern literary works (featuring characters like Wang Yue and Tong Yuan).
If you are interested in East Asian historical games and enjoy the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" series or the "Taiko Risshi" series, this game is a must-play.

Featuring over 160 historical characters (listed partially below).

CAO Cao: "I would rather betray the world than let the world betray me."
XIAHOU Dun: "Mounted and armed, I ride forth to strike fear into the heavens."
XIAHOU Yuan: "Unbound and wild, I disregard the world and embrace my freedom."
XU Chu: "With the might of a tiger, I will shake the Kunlun Mountains."

LIU Bei: "Dragon Sword secured at my waist. Golden words reveal my virtue."
GUAN Yu: "In life, one who has a beginning but no end is not a true person."
ZHANG Fei: "I stand here. Who dares to face me in a battle to the death?"
ZHAO Yun: "Determined to reach the skies, let me charge in and out seven times!"

DONG Zhuo: "I plan for the world. How could I spare the common people?"
LÜ Bu: "A true man, living between heaven and earth, cannot remain oppressed for long!"
HUA Xiong: "Bold as a blade on a fierce steed, my wolf-like heart brims with deep passion."
ZHANG Liao: This is what is meant by unity and strength. The brave shall advance."

YUAN Gang: "Leaving the wealthy circles, is it a dead end or a path to new beginnings?"
XU Wei: "Under the eaves of others, even great ambitions must be temporarily concealed."
SIMA Yan: "In a sea of corpses, blood ties are cut by the thirst for vengeance."
WANG Si: "Human hearts are full of emotion, while the sword knows no mercy."

DIAO Chan: "If there is any use for me, I would gladly accept a thousand deaths."
WANG Yue: "Half a lifetime seeking fate, half a step toward immortality."
ZHEN Jiang: "My beauty may surpass that of my sister who has yet to fully bloom?"

The game includes the following map areas: Sili, Jizhou, Youzhou, Bingzhou, Yanzhou, and Qingzhou, featuring a total of 60 cities. Due to certain limitations, the vastness of the Thirteen Provinces cannot be fully explored in our campaigns. However, the overt and covert struggles in the Yellow River region still provide a glimpse into the chaos of the times.

With over 450,000 words of text, the game provides a flexible development path. Eliminate bandits, collect bounties, ambush merchant caravans, resist foreign invaders, and restore order to the court—the game features all conceivable missions.

Strive to recreate the vibe of ancient cold weapon warfare, starting with the enjoyment of small-scale battles for early growth. Later, experience the epic sensation of larger-scale army combat.

The game begins with a relatively high difficulty level, so players unfamiliar with survival or strategy games should proceed with caution.
Players who are not familiar with the warlords of the Three Kingdoms may find it hard to immerse themselves, but they can gradually uncover the secrets of this world.
The game does not feature flashy combat visuals, so those who prefer spectacular action scenes should be wary.

Reviews
There are a lot of hidden missions and dialogues in the game that people can miss if they treat this as a band of brothers clone. This game is RTS battle brothers with a Chinese theme, with multiple major battles. Its focus surrounds the prelude and the Yellow Turban. Therefore the region is focused in the North. People that complain about the repetitiveness, but praise Battle Brothers are hypocrites. The combat is unique in that its cooldown focused, so think Parasite Eve or any active time battle games like Chrono Trigger. But you can reposition during cooldowns. That said, there are some issues. I believe the game has a leak, since after about 3 hours, the game starts taking longer to load. No lag, just load issues which affects inventory switching, pre-battle delay, etc. The guide is also lackluster. For example, it took me about 10 hours before I figured out the diamonds are increments of 20 stamina. I'm currently 34.5 hours in and I'm still in 182, to which the actual rebellion doesn't start until 184. I've participated in two major battles. I believe there are about 15-20 major battles. If the game expands into the other regions or eras, I will very likely get it.

Abandoned game
The storyline does not strictly adhere to actual history; instead, each general follows a unique, hypothetical path, or you can simply choose your favorite general to play in sandbox mode—a concept I find quite unique and compelling. However, this departure from history doesn't mean historical events are ignored entirely; I really enjoyed moments like the desperate defense of Macheng in the north—featuring an inspiring speech by the commanding general—or the cutscenes depicting the Yellow Turban forces preparing for their uprising. The game map isn't massive by historical standards, but the scope—stretching from Hebei to Yanzhou—feels just right; had I been forced to march on foot all the way down to Jingzhou right at the start of the game without a horse, I likely would have uninstalled it. The combat, tomb exploration, and bandit camp raids are all well-designed, though I do wish generals with high intelligence stats had more to do than just handle diplomacy or unleash special moves; they seem somewhat undervalued. The sheer amount of time I’ve spent playing speaks volumes about the game's quality; it is truly excellent, and I am very curious to see if the developers have any plans for the future—I certainly hope they do.
