About
A hero with a flaw
Wiktor Szulski is a thaumaturge, a master of mystical arts, who can peer into the hearts and minds of others, uncovering their deepest emotions, desires, and secrets. However, his powers also feed into his flaw of pride, which can present him with various opportunities or lead to negative consequences.

Untold mysteries waiting to be revealed
No secret or intrigue is safe when the thaumaturge is around. Your unique abilities will give you a great edge in solving detective investigations, becoming a savvy socialite or even dealing with the criminal underground. Explore the world using Wiktor’s perception, seeking personal secrets hidden in objects, that provide different perspectives on events that may seem obvious at first glance.
Taming mythical creatures
As a thaumaturge, you draw your power from the ability to summon salutors – mystical, folklore-inspired demons that inhabit the ethereal realm. Use their powers to manipulate your foes, sway the minds of allies, and fight opponents in turn-based tactical combat.

Unique turn-based combat
Engage in deep, tactical combat against various opponents – some physical, others more elusive. Wiktor's thaumaturgical abilities let you bend the rules of reality, summoning demons to unleash powerful attacks or gain strategic advantages.
A rich gallery of characters
The early 20th-century Warsaw is a multicultural metropolis with inhabitants from all walks of life. Among them, you’ll meet historical figures like the monk Rasputin or Tsar Nicholas II. The story also introduces you to a gallery of characters connected to Wiktor’s troubled past such as his well-versed sister Ligia or Abaurcy, a childhood friend who turned to a life of crime.

Features:
· Play an isometric RPG in which your choices will shape the final outcome of the story.
Short Version
The thaumaturge is a decent game with strong focus on story and historical event mixed with mythology and magic. You will learn a lot the events before the WW1 and the society in pre war Poland
Long Version
Story – Excellent The strongest point of the game. Amazing story with difficult and impactful decision while still managing to show you the majority of content without locking half the game on certain paths in the middle of the game. The story happens ins Warshaw in 1905 during the Russian occupation of the country. You will learn a lot about the society, entertainment and struggles of both Polish and Russian citizen. This is mixed with magic and mythology – your character is a Thaumaturge – a “magician” using the help of spirits called Salutors which are attracted to people Flaws. The Thaumaturges are capable of reading people thoughts from the items they have interacted with which makes them excellent investigators. And of course, feared by other people. All of this is mixed extremely well in the story. Gameplay – Good The gameplay of the game can be split on two parts – Exploring and interacting with different things and investigating people and combat. The first part is pretty straightforward and consist of mostly running around and talking while figuring out how to solve the problems. This is really well done as quite often the most obvious path is not the best one and the game pushes you to investigate and learn more before making a decision. The combat looks very basic at first glance – it’s a turn-based combat with skill order similar to many online games. Somehow though the formula ends up working very good and each fight is interesting until the end of the game despite following the same formula. Basically, the combat has several turns and each skill takes from half a turn to 2 turns to execute. You have two actions – one with your character and one with one of your Salutors. The more you progress the more skills and Salutors you will unlock. Each skill can also be upgraded and using the right upgrades on the right skills is vital for winning combats. One thing worth mentioning is that they could have chained side quests better. It is very easy to miss some unless you randomly decide to go visit that certain zone exactly between those two main quests. Wokeness – Mild. The game put Historical accuracy over modern agendas. There are no black people in 1905 Warshaw, you can take offence and enter fights homosexuality and you can straight up say that you “agree with the patriarchy”. That said – there are “jabs” in modern ideology. The are mild and probably 10 years ago I wouldn’t have noticed them at all but my radar is more finely tuned nowadays. My impression is that someone wanted but wasn’t allowed to “wokify” the game. Technical – Excellent. No bugs, no crashes, everything is voiced over. Visuals are not super amazing but not bad either. Game load super fast to the point I got annoyed at not being able to read the loading screen hints because they added extra context to the setting. Price and DLC’s – Good. I’ve managed to squeeze 45 hours out of this game. The base price is 35 euros but the game was already on Humble bundle so it goes on sales often. No DLC although there are hints of “more adventures”

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

very boring game
the writing is terrible, I can't recommend this. Things just happen because the story needs them to. There is no real logic behind character actions, conversations are extremely shallow, and while the overall world and ideas are interesting....it all boils down to 3 things: 1. walk around a village, and press right click to find clues, find them all, get a poetic breakdown of what is wrong with a person. 2. Fight people with your fists, breaking their psyche with your monster thing, then do a single attack which is a combination between your fists and the monster. 3. Fight humans to tame a big monster using your fists. 4. Everyone is now fine except the person who caused the issues, but now everyone can see through their lies. People want to burn the person for example, but one word from the protagonist makes their loved one re-consider, and then magically the two people are exiled instead? that's terrible writing. (Another example is in the village knocking on a door over and over, but suddenly having found all the clues, and beating up two men who tried to stop you, now she's fine and opens the door to talk with you...again that's...stupid. It's more believable that you must find a way to get in, convince someone to get her out, or, present something meaningful to her instead of just saying "I need to talk to you about your husband" This games biggest issue is the writing, followed by the repetitive combat. The story decides to make happy endings, or writes dialogue so strangely and out of place, that most of the time everything just feels...so shallow and not well thought out. Even the first mission, where you regain your power...is badly written. We are told this one person can commute with god or a higher power...then suddenly we are in a dream for 15 seconds, and now suddenly, he has all his powers back. Then? We do the thing of going around the village. I don't understand why the game was made like this. Take manipulation...it would have been so much more interesting finding out what makes a person tick, and then convincing them with a dialogue game, or a mini game or something to either do the right or wrong thing. But no...if you manipulate someone...you just make their eyes glow, and they do exactly what you want them to, like...taking you to travel, or just telling you immediately where someone is. I don't understand why this game has such high ratings, but I'm uninstalling it after this. It's just not for me.
The Thaumaturge -

The game's genre should be described as run-and-click. Throughout the entire game, you just run around and mash two buttons. The concept itself deserves approval. The combat is interesting (with terrible camera cuts). Because of how boring the gameplay is, I'm more inclined to avoid it. And too much text/plot. It was interesting at first, but then I found myself clicking through everything.
Assolutamente consigliato.
