Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

[/th]

I am going to recommend this game as it's fun to play .. BUT .. There is a BIG but coming .. You need to know the thing about Time in the game .. 1 MINUTE of game time is 1 SECOND of real time, which means 1 Hour of game time is 1 minute of real time, which means .. The days go FAST, you will barely have enough time to make a meal, disassemble a bucket, collect some water, collect some grain to feed your chickens, when the day is OVER. It's a game, ok .. but, the single flaw in this game is the ridiculous game time speed. On that basis, I am going to give this game a 6/10 .. as it is fun and interesting, and if you like Fallout Shelter, you will like this, but, as I say, be prepared to be able to do very little in a single game day,
I am not joking: This postapocalypse game has no postapocalypse. I immediatly stopped playing when I found out that you are prepping essentially for nothing because the Apocalypse only occurs as you end the game, leaving you building a shelter that you never use. If this was desirable i would get into IRL prepping. It gets worse with the late game apparently being that you build a home made space rocket to escape to the moon. No i am not joking this is the plot of this game. Immediatly stopped playing when I googled when the bombs drop and found out the answer is "In Game?Never" and that late game is building a scrap rocket in your basement which is just ridiculous..but sadly already spend too much time to get it refunded. Gameplaywise? Its okay, sort of a solid bunker builder game in a dystopian authoritarian US that appears slightly more welcoming and reasonable than the real life present day US unsettlingly. If you like preparing for nothing and work towards an end goal that can hardly be described as anything but idiotic you could have some fun.
the game mentioned its about nuclear survival but the game stops as soon it starts which you need a dlc to continue playing it

Mr. Prepper is a solid 6/10 game. It had an idea of what it wanted to do, and it did a passable job of meeting the ambitions it set out for. Unfortunately, that's about it. The game suffers from balance and pacing issues, resulting in large chunks that feel tedious. Either necessary resources are impossible to find, leaving the player feeling directionless, or they're easy to find and simply trickle-fed to the player, leaving the player feeling like they're just along for the ride. Several missions have no clear resolution, or the specific method of progression is unique and neither inferable from past gameplay or telegraphed meaningfully. Like early Sierra adventure games, these missions require the player to speculate as to the developer's logic rather than make decisions informed by established and understood mechanics. The routine agency check-ins are presumably intended to provide a challenge, but the ability to just hide everything in the basement and cover the ladder means they are more of an aggravation than a test of the player's skill. There are also a variety of UI issues, resulting in objects not being interactable due to technical reasons like camera framing or objects not responding as intended. These do not break the game, but they resulted in being unable to acquire resources the game clearly intended to be acquired on multiple occasions. Overall, Mr. Prepper is a minimum viable product of a game. It contains all the core elements of the kind of base-builder it tries to be, and they all serve the roles those things typically serve, but they all feel clumsy and bland. It is by no means a BAD game, but if asked to recommend it, I'd say that there are so many games of this genre that are far superior because they understood the essence of the genre far more.
This could be a fantastic game as big as Teraria or Starduh but instead of prepping and building your underground empire you are fighting the controls constantly.
I bought it at quite a big discount and I’m completely satisfied. This is exactly the type of game I needed, crafting, grinding, and the occasional adrenaline rush when I realized I’d left 20 oil canisters in the kitchen right before an inspection came.
I went into this expecting a simple management-survival sim. Instead, I got a satirical rollercoaster — crafting bunkers, fending off secret police, and running errands for quirky neighbours in a place called Murricaville. The story is clever, the humour hits (especially the "Bless the President" propaganda), and the political satire (especially in today’s idiocracy in Trumpism) is brilliantly on point. Gameplay-wise, it's a mixed bag. Crafting and resource juggling feel solid. Questing through town, building networks, and expanding your underground base can be oddly addictive—even if the world feels like a shabby, satirical version of suburbia. But... it’s bugged and clunky. Floating placement, slow controls, and an inventory that almost trips over itself are all real problems. Still, the narrative and systems kept me engaged longer than I expected. Smarter than your average survival sim, a quirky political roast wrapped in crafting and bunker-building. Just don’t expect any smooth moves—or freedom from underground accidents. Rating: 7/10.
