Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Aug 23 → 5.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

In a desperate move to end all wars that have been rampaging the world for decades, the mages provoked The Cataclysm. Massive balls of pure magic obliterated nearly everything. A strange purple mist propagated everywhere, with hordes of bloodthirsty mutants coming at night.
Our only hope is now to banish all magic from this accursed world by casting The Last Spell, requiring several days of uninterrupted incantation whilst a few strained Heroes try to protect those damned mages.

The Last Spell is a tactical RPG with roguelite elements in which you have to defend a city against hordes of deadly enemies.
During daytime, prepare your Heroes, carefully choose how to rebuild your Haven and position your defenses. Over the night, exterminate all the monsters coming at your walls with a large range of weapons and skills. Then heal, level up, and repeat until the Magic Seal is broken.

Turn-Based Tactical RPG:
● The whole RPG package: a flurry of stats, skills, perks, traits… and more.
● Tons of items: armors, weapons, trinkets and potions… with their own stats and skills, as well as optional random modifiers. Each weapon has its own skillset and playstyle!
● Build your own classes: upgrade your heroes with stat bonuses and perks, and equip whatever gear you wish. Want to make a glass cannon rogue/mage fighting with a gun? Do it!
● Manage your squad of heroes: they’re strong, but they are few and have access to limited resources. Healing and mana are scarce, so try to find a good balance.
Hordes of Evil:
● Think and adapt: you will face swarms of deadly enemies with only a few hardened heroes. Optimize your positioning and plan your actions: big AOE attacks, crowd control, buffs, poison... Every Action Point counts towards another day of survival.
● Enemies have strengths and weaknesses that will challenge your wits. And because hard is not enough for us, be prepared for the terrifying Elites!
● Each map will end with epic fights against unique mind-bending bosses.
Protect the Haven:
● Rebuild the city to help you in-between fights. Get healed, forge new magical weapons, get new heroes. Spend your resources wisely, commander!
● Build up your defenses: walls, traps, towers, catapults… every tiny bit of help is welcome.
● Protect the Magic Circle at all costs! If you lose it, humanity is doomed.
● 5 Havens to protect, each with their own setup and challenges requiring you to tailor your strategy to beat the Great Evil.
Roguelite Elements:
● The game is meant to be hard. You will fail… A lot. But every time you do, you’ll grow harder, better, faster, stronger!
● Procedurally generated enemy waves, characters, weapons and a ton of unlockables will keep you entertained until the real world collapses.
● Tailor each run thanks to the Omens: a limited amount of bonuses that can be picked for the upcoming run. Do you prefer more Action Points, more characters, sturdier defenses, better loot? Experiment to find your preferred tools of destruction.
● Scale the difficulty to your liking, with 6 levels of Apocalypse to entertain even the most hardcore players.
Headbanger Soundtrack:
● Over 25 tracks of thunderous synths-driven progressive metal to guide you through this joyous slaughterfest
● Composed by the incredible Rémi - The Algorithm - Gallégo

Oooh boy, This game is great. I grew up on final fantasy tactics and tactics ogre, and this scratches the itch perfectly. I recently got into Mewgenics, but it started getting really frustrating. The Last Spell is better in practically every way. It has good metagame progression mechanics, much better than mewgenics annoying AF breeding and item system. You choose a town to defend, set up the difficulty modifiers, add your omens (possitive things to help your run), and then you start. The gameplay loop goes, Battle, production phase, battle, production phase, battle, etc. In production phase you level up, build buildings, buy gear build defenses, maybe recruit heroes, spend resources, etc. Then, you start the battle. Battles take me about 45-60 minutes. If i'm being really careful and methodical, Production phase takes about 25-45 minutes. Each town has a different number of battles per night. Took me 50 hours to beat the second town. I have no idea how many towns there are after this, but I'm hoping it's a lot. (i'm currently grinding for metagame currency and progression unlocks on a previous level to prepare myself for the 3rd town.) I know once i beat the base game i'm going to be buying all the expansions. I can easily see myself dumping 500 hours into this, including all the expansions. The loop is so addicting. You finish a long battle, and have some relief, so you say, "ok great. Now i'm just going to go ahead and finish all my production phase stuff, level up, buy gear, and then i'll log off for the night." But then, once you've prepared everything, you realize, "hey. i"m all ready for the next battle now anyway... might as well start the next battle!" and before you know it you've lost 11 hours of your saturday, and are ready for more.

Fantastic turn based tactical RPG + tower defense + roguelite game. Building your party of characters to clear out monster waves based on their innate traits, available perk trees, and a couple of stat point upgrades you choose out of a random rerollable list, all while gearing them up with items from drops and your shops towns facilities, is really really fun. Each run is LONG (4-7 hours depending on the map, but the game is saveable at any state), so when you get a build going it is a very fun long ride, but the difficulty at base level is very accomodating even when you don't have a lot of meta progression unlocked yet, that it doesn't feel unfair even if I know I'd lose a looot of time if I lose my run, but at the same time a lot of my earlier runs still feels intense and very close, so it's not exactly too easy either, especially on the bossfights. Getting a lot of meta progression does mean that I have to pump up the difficulty with the apocalypse system (Think hades' heat) eventually though. My only complaints are that the perk trees can be a bit too simplistic sometimes (Maybe I just haven't played enough to see the synergies within it, who knows) and that lategame (day 8+) can be a bit of a hassle to manage your heroes and items because there are a lot that you have to manage, and the in-game inventory has no abilities to sort by anything. This is also mostly why I hate the 4th map, elderlicth, which is the longest map in the game, because by day 8 I need to keep shuffling items to minmax my party of heroes to beat the lategame waves and eventually the final boss of the map, which is quite tedious. I also kind of wish there were more maps, but I suppose for the price , 5 well designed maps in basegame is great value, and there's DLC if I want more Overall, 8.5/10, great game, would recommend. Would update if I get DLCs one day, who knows
7 hours in, I'm very addicted already. Fantastic game. lots of variety in build options. The intensity of the waves gets pretty serious. i paid 6 dollars on sale and its a better purchase than both marvel tokon fighters and metal gear snake eater remake. I would rather play this all day lol
An awesome murder hobo strategy, I'm having a blast
