Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Lead your team of Gladiators in turn-based arena battles, recruiting, training, and sometimes sacrificing them for glory. But remember, your Gladiators are mortal - If they fall in battle, they are lost forever... though their legacy will live on.
As a noble heir, you'll manage your city by unlocking, constructing, and upgrading buildings that provide new services and mechanics to aid you on your bloody quest for vengeance.

You fought tooth and nail for survival, driven by a burning hatred and a thirst for justice. Now, as a wealthy patron and a gladiator trainer, you plot your revenge against the tyrannical Emperor who stole your freedom and murdered your father. But the path to redemption is fraught with peril, and you must navigate a treacherous world filled with deception and danger.
Recruit new allies and expand your gladiator team to climb the ranks of the brutal tournaments. Each victory brings you closer to the grand Capitol, where your ultimate target - the Emperor, lost in his madness - awaits on his throne.

Before each battle, assemble a team of gladiators from various classes: physical, ranged, or magical. Will you pay gold, duel them, or show mercy in the arena to recruit them?
Level them up, increase their stats, and learn new abilities to ensure they're battle-ready. Don't forget to address any negative statuses or traumas, and equip them with shiny new weapons, armor, and consumables.
Use powerful Deity abilities to aid your Gladiators in battle, or make a shady deal with a local crime lord to sabotage your enemies before the battle even begins.

Combat unfolds in turn-based battles on a grid, where units act in order of initiative. Strategically move your gladiators, attack, and position them to outsmart and outmaneuver your opponents.
Use your action points wisely - unleash powerful weapon or class abilities, make use of items like potions and magical scrolls, or set traps on the ground to catch enemies off guard.
Win the favor of the audience by fulfilling their bloodthirsty wishes and reap rewards after each battle. But beware - permadeath is on. If a gladiator falls, they and their equipment are lost forever, adding high stakes to every decision.

You’ve inherited an estate overlooking the desolate coastal city of Marevento, and the city’s future now rests in your hands.
Between battles, use your hard-earned gold to build and upgrade city buildings, unlocking new tools and services to aid you in your quest for vengeance. From the infirmary, where your gladiators can recover, to the bustling market for trading items, and even a grand monument to honor fallen gladiators.
Defeat each region’s Arena Champion to advance the age and access powerful new buildings and items.
Are you ready to rise to the challenge and carve your name into history?

The concept is cool, but gameplay loop gets bland and repetitive very fast
This game scratches that very specific itch that XCOM players are so familiar with. You build your little soldiers, get attached to them through countless battles, and watch them die because you've made a stupid mistake and now have to live with the consequences. Thankfully there is always fresh meet in the tavern. The tactical battles are short enough to not be owerwelming, but require both tactical and strategic thinking. The strategic layer is all about equpment and is interesting enough to not be overly tedious. The classes are different enough. The only negative thing I can say is that you have to equip and re-equip your guys before every session, and without any equipment management it gets boring real fast, you have to scroll through the pile of ever growing equip a lot, comparing stats. But the rest of the game is rewarding enough, so it's not a deal breaker.
i like the base-building, the randomization, the combat design, the art, the balance is pretty good, the writing was fine. however after a while i really started to get tired of traps in every. single. combat. the combat music sucks. and so does having only a square for every match. i went to rome recently and they had all sorts of elaborate and interesting different kinds of maps, you can do better.
Okay Im gonna make this quick: its a great concept but kinda unoriginal. But What I am officially over is the maps: they are way too crowded with damaging junk and I feel like I am now fighting the maps more than the enemies. The game is bland enough I dont need to slog through that. Sorry Devs
A truly superb game. easy to get deep into. easy to set down when life comes calling. fantastic game
the arenas are so annoying i gave up, and also nothing is different from the very first battle
Overall a great and unique game but it does have some flaws to it. The major one in my opinion are the late game arena layouts. Oftentimes an arena will generate in such a crowded way that makes the fight go on for much longer than it should have as enemies struggle to reach you and you struggle to reach them. This combined with map hazards can lead to unsatisfying bouts where either enemies, your gladiators, or both succumb to the map itself. The developers have in the past tweaked other annoying systems to make them feel better to interact with such as audience entertainment and trauma so there is the hopeful possibility that this changes in the future. Almost everything else about the game is great though and definitely worth the purchase.
Like a mini game of xcom. But without all the painful stuff. The missions go quick and the base/strategy side has no time pressures. Units have a good variety of powers. Keyboard/Mouse controls are very good. Controller is horrible to use with it, mostly unplayable due to everything taking so long to do.
Played it for just a bit. Hit the second battle in the standard string of battles. Had to quit. "Your progress will not be saved." k bye
