For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I wish I enjoyed this game more, but I'm afraid to say that I found Primal Fray to be just a bit boring and tedious. Enough so to the point where I didn't really continue to give it a chance. Let me start of with the positives: I like the artstyle. The pixel art looks nice, and the creature designs are interesting enough. Unfortunately, that's kind of where my compliments end. It's not like this is the worst game I've ever played, it's not insultingly bad or anything. It just feels a bit uninspiring. The sound design is lacking. The music is really forgettable, and even a bit annoying in how boring it is. The animations are sluggish - and I swear that sometimes, on the map navigation, my commands get eaten by how slow the game is. The gameplay feels like it should be a lot more involved than it is, but because of how tediously slow everything is, my brain kind of just turns off. I also felt like, at least at in what I've played, there's a disturbing lack of synergies. Not necessarily in that there are to synergies, but that making use out of them just isn't particularly worth your time. Because sure, you could spend your turns setting up a big play, but the maps are so small, and your units can't path through each other, and the enemies have low enough HP, and a bunch of other stuff that just makes it so that it's just better to cast your basic damaging ability on an enemy. Especially that "your units can't path through each other" served to kill my enjoyment of the gameplay, because it made any kind of combo so much harder to pull off. I get why it might've been done, but unfortunately, it served to slow down the maps a lot. Especially because you don't get to decide the turn order of your units. it seems based on your units speed stat? Not that I know where i would find that speed stat. Perhaps the only thing that mustered up any kind of feeling about this game in me was the meta progression. And not in a good sense. I really wish roguelike creators would stop adding in "+5% damage" upgrades. They never feel good, because you can't feel them at all. I want some interesting upgrades, something that actually makes me excited to unlock them. Yes, small, incremental stat upgrades can work, but you have to know what you're getting into. It's more for games where you build up a lot of these small upgrades, allowing you to start of runs way stronger than before. Not for a roguelike in which you're supposed to be doing the same run every time. And worse than that, I already don't think 5% (scaling up to 25%) damage is in any way exciting to unlock, but the game goes out of it's way to make it even less interesting, by limiting that damage upgrade to one specific unit colour. So it's not 5% damage overall, it's 5% damage for green units (or other colours). There are other meta upgrades that are slightly more interesting than that, to be fair, but you have to go through this ♥♥♥♥ to start off with, and that just soured my mood on this game. Overall, I would not recommend Primal Fray, it was tedious and boring. I paid ~€9,75 for this, and after I post this review, I'm going to be looking to see if I can still get a refund. That's not something I do often, even for games I dislike. Unfortunately, it's not that I particularly dislike this game, it's that I can't muster up the energy to care for it at all. With that said, the steam posts give me the impression that this game is a passion project made by a solo developer, or perhaps a small team, and I do want to emphasise that they still deserve to be proud of the game. It's not an easy thing to develop a video game, and I do not think my non-enjoyment of the game should cancel out the effort that went into making it, nor should it reflect negatively upon its creators. I would much sit through a hundred of these small indie games that I don't end up liking, than a single game without a soul, whether it be AI or corporate garbage. I hope this review doesn't discourage the developer(s) from sticking with their jobs and/or hobbies. I think the game shows promise for future projects. But in its current state, as a consumer, I cannot recommend it.

The graphics are ASTONISHING in this game, the level of detail and dedication is absolutely unmatched, game is beautiful, pleasing, I want to unlock all the primals to see not only their abilities but also the design! The game is very well thought through, done with passion and commitment I hardly ever see, killed the first boss and I'm already invested, I truly, truly recommend this game!
It's exactly what it looks like: fun and replayable. Definitely worth it for this price:) Love the game, it's what I enjoyed in the demo, but finally even more of it! I really recommend it if you are into turn based combat, this one offers some very unique combinations from the primals abilities. The roguelike elements make for a great way to tie it all together! Overall very satisfied with my experience with the game, precisely what I expected from it:)
Polecam!
Tactical beauty - I'm a fan of this game. If you're fond of board games where you have pieces on the board that fight and interact using different abilities, Primal Fray is a dream come true in digital form. It's incredibly fun to collect different creatures and progress in the campaign. On top of it, there is a VS mode where you can play with other players on custom boards. An absolute must-have! 10/10
I’ve always loved turn-based battles, and this game is a great example of why. Challenging hex-based combat, characters with unique mechanics, and plenty of room for clever combos. It combines tactical decision-making in each battle with long-term strategic planning. The pixel art is gorgeous and adds a very distinct atmosphere to the whole experience. If you enjoy thinking, planning, and experimenting, this is hours of tactical fun.
The game is very cool. It has a lot of Pokémon and Into the Breach vibes, plus level progression in the spirit of Slay the Spire. I was really surprised by the pretty in-depth mechanics — manipulating surfaces, attacks that not only spend but also generate mana, and the necessity of being aware of your surroundings (e.g., your creatures can fall off cliffs, which permanently kills them). On top of all that, the graphics really scratch that pixel-art itch — they are colorful and clean, and it's hard to believe they were done by a single person. Easy recommend.
Really cool little game. Cool art, dialogues could be a bit better and there's some tweaks here and there that could be done, but overall its a pretty fun game. For the price I'd recommend it for sure if you're looking for a chill but tactical with roguelite aspects.
Great game. A lot of stuff to discover and play with. A must-have title if you're into complex strategy. Also the art looks stunning!
Why is such a cute game so hard:') This piece is the definition of a game made with love
