Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Like many before me, I also wish there was a "Neutral" button. But given I can only recommend or not recommend this game, I tend to say I rather not recommend it. Which is a shame because it looked like a perfect 7/10 game. However, I just dont like how in several places the game design is just "let the players fight as many waves of enemies as possible". This is true especially for the very last mission which was quite a pain in a neck. I also wish the human weapons got improved as the game goes on - after all, you manage to steal basically all weapons that aliens have and your engineers look into them, so why not the gained knowledge to improve your firearms? Lastly, the end of the story is weird. What happened to agent Carter? As for the good stuff, dialogues and voice-acting are solid, atmosphere is perfect, optimalization seemed fine to me and I had no problem playing the game on Steam Deck - meaning it's perfectly playable even with a controller.
Woof. I don't know why they did this to XCOM, but it didn't deserve it. Only play this if you're into grey-brown-em-ups or if you're a curious masochist.
Fun and stylish game about cool men and women with intriguing xcom-like plot. Nowadays, it feels like a breath of fresh air.
Juego entretenido.

Si has jugado a la saga principal te va a gustar.

I am an XCOM fan. More accurately, I am a UFO: Enemy Unknown fan. So I will tell you up front: Do not think of this game as an XCOM game. We got the firaxis games, we can give this game a fair shake. Which makes it into... an Okay game. It's okay. It does have one twist, one little trick that it uses and makes so many small details very funny.
Its Janky, Buggy, and Boring in a Story and gameplay sense. Its certainly not good as an XCOM game, and not worth your time as a game in general. Every moment of gameplay was tedious, and repetitive, and I kept begging for the end to come. It finally did, and the end was as dull as the rest of the game, but at least it was finally over.
