Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance is not just a game; it's an adrenaline-fueled journey where your strategic prowess decides the fate of mankind against the machines. After the machines took over, the greatest threats may not come from the machines but rather from other human survivors.

Not a real RTS, I just wanted to build units but you can't. Disappointed just like the movie. That style where you have to pick units before the map starts is real bad.
Dodaje to grze realizmu i buduje napięcie podczas każdej misji. Np.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I constantly find myself coming back to this game every so often, and that's not just because of nostalgia for the IP, it's the challenging and methodical gameplay that keeps me coming back. Good campaign, with a story that fits well within the Terminator Universe. The missions are all quite unique, with some hidden missions if you play your cards right (or wrong). There are some really challenging mission scenarios that can be kind of frustrating for a first playthrough. The enemy variety is kind of staggering but it eventually boils down to "Rock, Paper, Shotgun." Tank does in fact, beat everything. But the tank is still a paper tiger when it comes to ATGMs. There are a few moments in a playthrough that you'll make decisions that affect the rest of your run, but you will be adequately warned of said choices. If you really wanted to, you can fight everyone. There is a surprising level of depth present in the game, sort of gets tarnished by RNG at times, but in my opinion, that just adds another layer of realism. DLCs are good additions that add decent levels of content and story progression. One DLC (Uprising) adds a conquest mode, where you and four other factions compete for control of the world map. There are even mods for it that enable you to play as the other factions. Very few bugs, even fewer related to crashing, which I have experienced, but never on this set-up. Mod manager was added a ~3 months ago, I finally gave that a shot, and uh, yea its awesome, there are already quite a few mods, some of them drastically change unit variation and even rebalance some missions which was pretty awesome. There is honestly so much going on here its hard to cover it all in a review, your best bet is too look up videos and watch gameplay of both in mission content, and the meta progression bits (supply management; which can end runs if careless, unit loadout management; which determines how you intend to approach missions, trading. replenishing, etc..) Overall, well worth my time, and my frustration with its difficulty. If you are someone who enjoy games that require true strategy, this is for you. If you are someone who is impatient and frustrates easily, maybe take a look at Starship Troopers: Terran Command, much more forgiving, gets you right into the action, and requires much more straight forward strategy. If I was to compare this game to others, I would compare it to Red Dragon, or Warno-esque games, far more RTT the RTS.
The missions are rubbish. They're full of arbitrary objectives like 'go to this rally point for no reason...now go back where you just came from' and 'move forces to this specific spot in the open and just keep them there'. better objectives would be 'extract all your forces from the area' or 'prevent the enemy from destroying this thing'. Then I could choose how to do it. I want to have the ability to make my own choices, not just be led step by step and micromanaged.
They went way harder then they needed to making a movie tie in game. Dynamic RTS combat with persistent units is awesome. This game should be a reference point for new developers on how to make an RTS.
game breaking bugs, like in the first mission, the stryder you get is too slow to avoid the enemy forces and will make the mission fail, because you have to hide a certain amount of time, before attacking... things like this lead to one reload by another in almost every mission...
