About
Build and decorate your tavern, hire staff, stock your larder, meet the locals, be the boss and run the show! Whether you keep a cosy neighbourhood taphouse or a lean, mean gold-minting machine, the choices - and consequences - are yours.

Dozens of intertwined game systems create unpredictable emergent situations. Dirt, heat, noise, flammability, sickness and of course, a parade of colourful customers all keep the unexpected coming.

Today’s situation: Half of your staff are in bed with sleep-sickness. Orders are piling up and patrons’ tempers are getting heated. So is the tavern - because it’s on fire! A spark from a broken lantern landed on just the wrong patch of dirt with no one around to notice. Oops, perhaps it’s time to call the fire brigade...
An expansive narrative campaign lets you build taverns across a vibrant world full of your favourite fantasy cultures. Each new location brings fresh challenges and surprising stories. Meet immortal elementals, outwit halfling philosophers and aid a crazed orc inventor.

Experience a magical storybook fully-narrated by Steven Pacey. Encounter hundreds of bite-sized stories with a surprise at every turn. There’s always someone needing the guidance of a Tavern Keeper like you. What choices will you make?
Decorate every nook and hollow of your tavern to create everything from bustling taprooms to relaxing reading corners. Place and manipulate thousands of items anywhere with complete creative freedom and make the tavern of your dreams.

Go beyond decorating and become a master artisan by using Tavern Keeper’s powerful Design Mode to craft unique furnishings. Combine pieces, add magical effects, then share your creations with the Tavern Keeper community.

Play the single-player campaign your way with adjustable game mechanics and storyteller settings or play in Freeplay for a custom challenge. Pick Challenging and strategize over every decision, barely making it through each day, or play a Relaxed game running the tavern of your dreams without pressure. The choice is yours.

The game is made with a lot of charm and love. Its a decent tycoon managment style game with a very fun story. Shame the story is quite short for now. Id highly recommend this game. Even if the developers vanish tommorow Id say the existing experience is worth the price. Negatives: As more of a factorio spreadsheet kindof gamer the customisation and design mechanics are not particularly apealing to me. I have never found myself using the designer. Id prefer more of the development effort to go to making the managment and optimisation mechanics more fun. As I feel these aspects are still quite shallow. This is especially felt when the story finishes and your left with just the managment. An example of what I mean: Right now optimising your employees is simply looking for a high skill employee for the job with negative quirks you can bare. A system of levels like in oxygen not included would go a long way. Or maybe make the quirks more impactful. Like maybe a character has mops for legs and then you have to figure our how to schedule him to walk over your dirty areas. Maybe you could buy enchancments like that from a passing wizard. Unless im wrong the race of the employer does not affect them almost at all. This seems like a missed opportunity especially with race specific areas. Shceduling which worker works wich station, wich routes they use ect ect a lot more depth could be added to manage and optimise. Maybe salaries are a scale you control and the level you set them to affects who you get offered. A lot of ideas but of course im not the one who has to code them :)

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I appreciate the how to and the visual guides on what I need to do to run a successful tavern. I'm still pretty new on how to play this game but I greatly appreciate the time the developers took to make short instructional videos for me to reference when I wasn't sure what I needed to do.
Let's see - we have...: Awesome animations - check! Cool and intriguing gameplay - check! Outstanding humor with the greatest voice-acting - check! Maps with objectives - check! Starbased progress - check! A funky OST - check! Letters from the ministry - check! Two Point Tavern ( ^^) is absolutely awesome and a clear recommendation. :)
I am SO happy I found this gem. I rarely leave reviews but this is 100% my style of game. I read a lot of the bad reviews before purchasing, and they actually helped convince me to get this. Many of them seem not to enjoy decorating, figuring out tough puzzles, they don't like narration and story lines, or they find the game repetitive. I feel the opposite about most of these. These devs have thought of EVERYTHING. It's only early access yet there is SO much to do. The scenarios are tough but absolutely doable (even the 3rd map; just get 4ish janitors working opposing schedules). I'm pumped for more to come out, but until then I'm going to create so many designs and beat the second map's guild contest.
L'ambiance et le narrateur sont très immersif. Merci pour ce jeu haut en couleur et original

HollyMolly, this is my new favourite. The looks are grat, the tiny details in narration and gameplay are just mindblowing, the customization possibilities are awesome, and again, the narration (and the stories) are marvelous. In my first playthrough - over the currently available 3 story scenarios - I only encountered one bug and just at the end. It was not a showstopper or too serious, so I think it will be solved pretty soon. I can't wait for the new scenarios. It's highly recommended from my side.
