Tales from the Borderlands is a five-part episodic game set on the unforgiving world of Pandora between the events of Borderlands 2 and Borderlands 3. This is a story full of Borderlands' trademark humor, following two adventurers on their quest for greatness.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Aug 10 → 4.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Not for me.
An extremely funny, self-contained adventure that holds up even after a decade after its release. Great characters, great humour and a great set of choices that makes your adventure feel personal. A game still worth playing, even after such a long time.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 12: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

YESH!
Game somehow ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up my safe files so episode 3 loaded a default save file instead of mine. Edit: Replayed the entire game from the start and didnt have a problem this time. I enjoyed the story, music, writing so I would recommend.
The idea for Tales came about when representatives of Telltale and Gearbox studios chatted at the VGA gala, which was the gaming industry's attempt to compete with the Oscars at the time, and came to the conclusion that it would make sense to make a more peaceful adventure from the otherwise constantly exploding Borderlands universe. Tales from the Borderlands are full of black humor. The writers managed to perfectly capture the atmosphere of the world, which they quickly and painlessly introduce even people who are unfamiliar with the original. That's right, you can enjoy Tales even without knowing the Borderlands saga. And if you know it? Then on the contrary, you will appreciate a deeper excursion into the souls of bandits and psychos, with whom you have only watered the dry sands of Pandora until now. A turn-based storyline, here and there you collect some money, open some chests, hack some junk or program the equipment of a robot that will fly to you from orbit and trample the intruding bandits. This style of games is not for everyone and some may find it boring and slow, including me. 15%
Tales from the Borderlands is easily one of the best narrative games I've ever played. I enjoyed every single minute of all five episodes, and by the end I didn't want it to be over. The story is phenomenal, the pacing is excellent, and the way the game constantly switches between Rhys and Fiona being tied up and dragged through the desert while telling their version of the story before jumping back into the actual events is such a brilliant storytelling idea that kept me hooked the entire time. After finishing Borderlands 2, this game makes so much more sense than it did the first time I played it. I understood so many more references, returning characters, and jokes, which made the experience even better. The cast is honestly one of the biggest reasons why this game is so special. Rhys and Fiona are incredibly well-written protagonists with amazing chemistry, Vaughn is hilarious and surprisingly lovable, Sasha is a fantastic character, Loader Bot completely stole my heart, Gortys is absolutely adorable, and even the side characters feel memorable, unique, and full of personality. Every character has their own charm, and they all play an important role in making the adventure feel so alive. There isn't a single character that feels out of place, and by the end of the game I genuinely cared about all of them. On top of that, the game is packed with hilarious jokes and some of the funniest dialogue I've seen in a Telltale game, constantly making me laugh without taking away from the emotional moments. And that final boss fight... wow. Even though I already knew what was coming, it felt so epic that I had the same feeling as if I were experiencing it for the very first time. The music, the atmosphere, and everything happening in that moment made for an unforgettable finale. Games like this are exactly why I miss the old Telltale so much. We really don't get many story-driven adventures like these anymore, and Tales from the Borderlands is proof of just how incredible they were at creating unforgettable characters, emotional stories, and adventures that stay with you long after the credits roll. 10/10, an absolute masterpiece.
10/10 shoulda played sooner i loved the lore . RIP our mechanic goat
