Ich habe mir bei dem Spiel etwas wirklich gutes Erhofft. Ich liebe Borderlands, insbesondere 2. Aber das hier.. ist alles außer Borderlands. Du machst hier nichts außer Dialogen zuhören, irgendwelche Elektronischen Geräte entschlüsseln und sich die Umgebung anschauen. Ich wollte Borderlands spielen, kein Borderlands Hörbuch mir rein ziehen. Das ganze ist quasi einfach nur eine animierte visuel Novelle. Leider reine Enttäuschung, selbst als Borderlands Franchise Liebhaber. Auch wenn die Borderlands Story ja irgendwo interessant ist, will ich hier nicht 10-20 Stunden sitzen und einfach nur Leuten zuhören. Da habe ich besseres zu tun.. 2/10
Après Dispatch, j'avais envie d'un jeu narratif fun/drôle et attachant. Pas grand fan de borderlands, je n'ai aimé que le 2. Et bien très bonne surprise ! j'ai adoré du début à la fin. l'humour fait mouche, le jeu n'est pas trop long, il est original, bien écrit. certes il fait daté en terme d'animation, mais ça reste correct. je le recommande !

Better than the borderlands movie! (which I havent seen, but the trailer was enough)
Quick rule before we start — because it matters to me: I only review games I’ve actually beaten. All episodes completed. Credits rolled. No drive-by opinions. Tales from the Borderlands has no business being as good as it is. This game takes the chaotic, loud, loot-obsessed world of Borderlands and somehow turns it into a genuinely well-written, character-driven story that hits just as hard emotionally as it does comedically. Even if you’re not deep into Borderlands lore, this game does a great job of pulling you in and making you care. Rhys and Fiona are fantastic leads, and the supporting cast steals the show constantly. The humor lands, the soundtrack is excellent, and the pacing keeps things moving without overstaying its welcome. It’s one of those rare narrative games where the dialogue choices actually feel meaningful — not because they radically change the world, but because they shape who these characters become. What really surprised me is how balanced it is. It never forgets it’s Borderlands — there’s absurd humor, violence, and style — but it also knows when to slow down and let quieter moments breathe. That contrast is what makes it memorable. Do I want to replay it and see different choices? Absolutely. Will my Steam backlog (thanks, sales) allow that anytime soon? …probably not. Still, even one full playthrough is enough to say this confidently: this is one of Telltale’s best games, and one of the best Borderlands stories, period. Pros: Strong writing and character development Humor that actually works Great soundtrack and pacing Borderlands style without being overwhelming Cons: Minimal traditional gameplay (story-focused) Choices encourage replaying (time commitment) Makes you miss peak Telltale era Verdict: A Borderlands story with heart, style, and humor — beaten, finished, and absolutely worth your time.
Overall a Good game, Much better then the batman telltale, Slow at times, but the characters carry a lot, lots of loveable characters, and people who deserve what they got, get it. overall 8/10 would recommend on sale. Z3r0 da goat
