A hidden gem that still holds up. I went into Tales from the Borderlands expecting a fun story, but it ended up being one of the most enjoyable narrative games I've played. The writing is genuinely funny, the characters are incredibly likeable, and the choices made me feel invested from beginning to end. Even if you're not a huge Borderlands fan, this game stands on its own. The mix of humor, heartfelt moments, and action is surprisingly well-balanced, and the soundtrack is fantastic. Every episode kept me wanting to see what happened next. Rhys and Fiona are great protagonists, and the supporting cast steals the show more than once. There were plenty of moments that made me laugh out loud, along with a few that genuinely caught me off guard emotionally. If you enjoy choice-driven games with memorable characters and excellent storytelling, this is an easy recommendation. It's one of Telltale's best games, and I'd happily play it again.

Oh man oh man this game was absolute peak. After playing through all the borderlands 1,2,3/pre-sequel and seeing places I have been and revisiting them made me feel nostalgic and getting to know the characters throughout the 12 hour long story has been amazing. The character design and the sense of mystery kept me hooked throughout and as a first telltale game, I will be checking out the others in the series. I humbly enjoyed this game and I recommend it. 8/10

As a long-time fan of TellTale's aesthetic and the Borderlands games, this game was a real pleasure to play! The story is really cool, but the big highlight is the characters, and not just the two playable ones, Rhys and Fiona. All the secondary characters surrounding them are awesome. The main downside, in my opinion, is the decisions you make at the beginning of the game (episodes 1-2), which ultimately have very little impact on the ending you get. The jokes are also a little predictable, or even downright predictable, when you're familiar with the humor of the 2K franchise, but that doesn't detract from the qualities of Tales from the Borderlands. In short, it was 11 hours of happiness, even if some episodes were more exciting than others!

A must play, in my opinion, if you are a fan of the Borderlands series. Thoroughly enjoyed this experience. This was also my first TellTale Games experience, and I will be playing more of them. Highly recommended!
