Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

I've played System Shock 2 when I was a kid and found it amazing and terrifying. This game very much captures the spirit of System Shock 2. Loved it. Then again, what do I know. After all, I'm just a pathetic creature of meat and bone.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 15: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Pros: I thought this was a survival horror with severely limited ammo and the like. But it is more of a shooter with horror themes, which I am very grateful for. SHODAN is one of the great evil AI characters and I'm glad I got to experience it without having to play through an Amnesia scenario or something. Neutral: It doesn't hold your hand with telling you your objectives or where you should go. Some people like that, I found it frustrating at times. Especially when the thing you need to interact with you passed a dozen times before hand when you couldn't interact with it. So when you do need to, it doesn't spring to mind as something to check out. Cons: The inventory system and the boss fights. The inventory system is SUPER restrictive, so unless you already knew that items you drop on the ground weren't going to despawn and you could come back hours later, it made for some oppressive gameplay in a not-so-fun way. And the boss fights were so lopsided that you either one-shot them, or they one shot you. No real in-between. No clever uses of cover, no running to the other side of the arena to pop a quick heal and reload. You either turn yourself into a time slowing god with your most powerful weapons ready to go and put them down before they can finish their opening animation, or you get sent to the death screen in 15 seconds or less.
An interesting game with a decent amount of depth to the gameplay elements. The old school feel with the level designs is great but some of the later floors are a little bit of a slog to navigate if you need to backtrack which can lead to some duller moments which may be caried over from the original games design. Otherwise the game ran great and would recommend to anyone who is interested.

Duro, árido y no para todo el mundo. Juegazo.
## What I Liked - Atmosphere of exploring the station is unmatched. - Inventory management matched with constant exploration of new stages makes for a very tense experience. - Good variety of weapons with their upgrades. - Playing such a faithful remaster feels surprisingly modern. Feels like a modern game in a lot of way without the handholding you would see there. - Discovery once it clicks is ## What I Didn't Like - I hate cyberspace, the look of it is cool, but actually playing it is a chore. - Has a few tedious sections that force a lot of walking between locations. ## Gameplay A survival horror masterpiece with tons of depth. There are just so many systems that interlock here that keep you moving forward and discovering as you go. Hits that perfect balance of feeling almost impossible, but through carefully planned resource usage you can overcome anything it throws at you. Very clear distinction of levels lead to finding interlocked puzzles related to getting around. ## Graphics & Sound The updated graphics don't throw out the core styling of the game and it's so much better for that. It nails the horror that it is trying to present and the station looks futuristic in a way that feels very 90s. The sound matches that as you can hear the station living around you. Good headphones are one of the best tools you can have in this game as audio is a big part of locating and not getting overwhelmed by enemies. ## Would I Recommend It? Yes ### Who Should Skip It If you don't want to meet the game where it's at and adapt to how it want's you to play, you should just skip it. It's not a shooter in the way that Bioshock or similar games would end up being. You are going to need to adapt to how it gates progression and how deadly some sections are as well, it doesn't scale in a way that you ever feel very powerful. ## PC Spec CPU: i7-14700K Memory: 32GB Video Card: RTX 3080 Storage Type: NVMe Monitor resolution: 5120x1440
