Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Wooo! just completed it! :bmojam: Its an old skl fps metrovania with puzzles and a decent storyline You have to pay attention to the audio and text logs and take notes on codes No hand holding in this game. It does have a difficulty settings at the start for combat, puzzle etc so make sure you choose what you think your comfortable with. I chose the hardest on combat and ended up cowering behind corners 😅 A few issues with the game like not being able to store all your guns so you have to make hard decisions or place them where you can back track to, I ended up using map markers to remind me where I dropped them. Took 28 hours to complete
Too much back and forth. It's impossible to know where you're going. Sometimes it's even a matter of quitting the game and logging back in to get certain switches to work, this is unacceptable. Beyond frustrating and without this back and forth issue the game would be so awesome I finished it and I must say it was well worth it, but man is this game frustrating. It really hates you and kill you over and over again.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 15: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Really really really really really good, your favorite game probably stole something from the game this one is remastering
This remake of System Shock is a blast from the past. It stays true to the 90s version. It has great visuals, fantastic controls, good sound design and it feels just good. There is no handholding, no 100 pings to go here or there, you have to deduce what to do next through the context of the messages you receive. I forgot how great it was to play a game where you actually have to think for yourself and not be reminded what to do every 90 seconds, or shown on the map where to go next. You just have a simple map that expands by visiting the station and if you want to note something just write it on the map. The door doesn't open because the security level is to high, drop a map marker on the door with that info, found a keyword in a message, drop an info on the side on the map and when you need it you can just open the map. I found no bugs while playing this game and I had only 2 not reproducable crashes. What I didn't like was the small inventory, the whole cyberspace part of the game and the difficulty distribution. You start on the medical deck and that part is by far the hardest part in the game, because only on medical is the respawn of enemys just bonkers. Another annoying part are the last two decks, they feel just like filler content and stretch an enjoyable playthrough into almost a slog. My rating 9/10, a highly enjoyable remake from a masterpiece of the past.
Great game
I can't believe I never reviewed this. I got this on GOG around 2 years ago or something, then bought it here. I've tried on and off to play the original System Shock, but couldn't do it. Then I played this, and fell in love. I have since completed a playthrough of the original version and Nightdive's improved version. Wonderful series. This game is a perfect jumping off point, and you aren't prepared for how good it and the rest of them are. PLEASE try it!
Heavy in the begining but rewarding at the end.
