If you like giant stompy bots and turn-based tactical combat, have I got a game for you...

This game isn't for everyone, its a massive crossover of tons of different mecha anime, so if you're not a mecha head you probably won't know whats going on. Even if you are a mecha head there's a ton of shows represented here you may have never seen before. Its frankly a lot to handle. One top of that its a turn based, grid based strategy rpg and that's not always in everyone's wheelhouse. That said if youre the kinda sicko who wants to see GaoGaiGar and Getter Robo and Mazinger Z team up this is the place to do it. The game is expansive, challenging, and really fun. if you like Fire Emblem you'll find the basic gameplay engaging and the unique systems around unit resource management have a learning curve you'll get a lot out of.

The only real complaint I could have about the game is the length. It is a long haul, even by super robot wars standards. But if you like Super Robot Wars, square based strategy/tactics games (or just Mecha fan service), this is one of the best entry into the series IMO, especially for someone who hasn't played Super Robot Wars before. It refines everything previous games did and the new stuff is great. I'm sure there isn't much to add that hasn't already been said in previous comments, so I'll keep this brief.
