Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 23 → 3.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Returning from a hunting trip to find your lands in ruin, you must rebuild your home while fending off hordes of monsters that attack your gates every night. Should your city fall and the forces of darkness sweep across the land, you will awaken to begin a new run where you carry forward the rewards of prior attempts – more heroes at your disposal, previously unexplored lands already uncovered, and every opportunity to push further as you uncover the mystery that has you trapped in a never-ending cycle of life and death.

As night falls, hordes of monsters emerge from the darkness in an attempt to destroy everything you’ve built, charging towards your gates and growing more vicious as the night draws on. Powerful bosses will test your defenses ruthlessly, and the only thing standing in their way is the collection of stalwart warriors, powerful creatures, and magical beings you’ve recruited to defend your lands.
Each run you may choose a different powerful guardian to lead your defenses, each with their own strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for unique strategies and growth through equipment and experience. Will your ice priestess freeze monsters in place for your crossbowmen and halfling to score easy shots from range, or will your knight charge into battle while a trebuchet flings rocks overhead?
Explore the world to meet over 50 unique units that you can recruit into your cause to find the best combinations – vampires guarding halfling slingers, dinosaurs charging ahead of genie spellcasters, or crossbowmen supporting brave men-at-arms? Seek them out in the world, using your hard-earned resources to hire them to your cause and upgrade their abilities, or wait for wandering warriors to appear, with each run offering different opportunities for recruitment.

Careful planning and strategic choice will define each run as you manage resources, troops, and the kingdom at large. With limited locations for buildings, and more options than you’ll have space for, prepare to make simple but difficult decisions with lasting impact.
Resource locations and availability are randomized with each run and you’ll need to make vital decisions on what to prioritize – quick access to raw materials is essential early on, but optimizing production chains is vital as time goes on.
Unlock more advanced methods of acquiring resources over time to free up your workforce, but make sure you prioritize what you need for your planned strategy – will you scale up your defenses by focusing on forestry and plank production to build trebuchets and catapults, or will you prioritize the acquisition of stone to build strong walls? Or perhaps you seek optimal gold production to more quickly afford upgrades for your most capable warriors?
As your heroes gather at the tavern to celebrate each night’s hard-fought victory, they grow stronger by eating the meals you have prepared. Build fishing huts, farms, mills, and more to feed your warriors and help them prepare for what lies beyond the walls!

Explore the world and uncover its secrets – from heroes and resources to quests, challenges, and more! The lands of Super Fantasy Kingdom are vibrant and alive, and you never know who or what you’ll find along the way. These elements mean that strategic choices for city building and combat will keep evolving and changing over time.
Earn enough glory in battle to gain access to more strategic options within your kingdom – the longer you survive the further you’ll be able to explore and the more opportunities available for the next run.
Your discoveries carry over to future cycles, unlocking entirely new starting options and strategic approaches that were previously several nights of battle away. These include powerful guardians, brave heroes, tricky relics, or even allies to help you out.
Super Fantasy Kingdom is designed for replayability with unpredictable opportunities and a variety of game-changing mechanics across worlds and kingdoms. Play endlessly with different strategies and approaches in a game that is easy to learn, but hard to master.

Reviews
As a product this game is 100% worth the money, I got a lot of enjoyment out of this game so far and will continue to play it as it gets updated My favourite part of this game is slowly opening up the map to unlock new features in future runs, catching units to use in new runs and seeing how every unit levels up and plays Every run feels like exploring new information and I find that very rewarding The number of unit variety is crazy for a game like this and the trait system is super interesting too It's simple combat but never feels boring Although I reccomend this game, the base building element is the not fun part of the game Every town in every run looks almost the same, and not only that but built in the exact same order too Doing it any other way feels sub optimal. There's really no "roguelite" element in the base building except for a random chance to loot the map, almost feels like your base isn't connected to the rest of the game I hope units and the base find a way to synergize so the base building can join in on the fun parts of the game too

I don't have time for this. This game pacing is horrendous, I don't have 200h to pour into this sluggish meta progression. Give me workers, ressources and let me PLAY THE GAME ffs
Progression gets strange after a while. Several bugs. Its okish. Several times when dragging items there are issues. Several times instead of "losing" the battle, heroes dies and the monsters just stop attacking and the loss screen never comes.
The review you are looking for: ---{ Graphics }--- ☐ You forget what reality is ☐ Beautiful ☑ Good - 8 bit graphics mixed with some higher fidelity images in the mix. ☐ Decent ☐ Bad ☐ Don‘t look too long at it ☐ MS-DOS ---{ Gameplay }--- ☐ Very good ☑ Good - If the developer did any more for the gameplay it'd probably be overbearing. I like it, my opinion might not be yours. ☐ It's just gameplay ☐ Mehh ☐ Watch paint dry instead ☐ Just don't ---{ Audio }--- ☐ Eargasm ☐ Very good ☑ Good - almost chiptune music, definitely cleaner but still feels of the period. ☐ Not too bad ☐ Bad ☐ I'm now deaf ---{ Audience }--- ☑ Kids ☑ Teens ☑ Adults ☑ Grandma ---{ PC Requirements }--- ☐ Check if you can run paint ☑ Potato - I'm on a beefy PC but I'd imagine this is easy to run on a laptop or maybe even a phone. ☐ Decent ☐ Fast ☐ Rich boi ☐ Ask NASA if they have a spare computer ---{ Game Size }--- ☐ Floppy Disk ☐ Old Fashioned ☑ Workable - over 1/2 of a gig. Seems large for the art style, but it's all content. ☐ Big ☐ Will eat 15% of your 1TB hard drive ☐ You will want an entire hard drive to hold it ☐ You will need to invest in a black hole to hold all the data ---{ Difficulty }--- ☐ Just press 'W' ☐ Easy ☑ Easy to learn / Hard to master - you'll fail, it's part of the game. ☐ Significant brain usage ☐ Difficult ☐ Dark Souls ---{ Grind }--- ☐ Nothing to grind ☐ Only if u care about leaderboards/ranks ☐ Isn't necessary to progress ☑ Average grind level - roguelike. I'll cover what this means below. ☐ Too much grind ☐ You'll need a second life for grinding ---{ Story }--- ☐ No Story ☑ Some lore - Some characters have voice lines, there is a story but it's a bit barebones at the moment. Might just be where I'm at in the game and not true at all. ☐ Average ☐ Good ☐ Lovely ☐ It'll replace your life ---{ Game Time }--- ☐ Long enough for a cup of coffee ☐ Short ☐ Average ☑ Long - you'll be doing many runs to try and win, many more if you try to 100%. ☐ To infinity and beyond ---{ Price }--- ☐ It's free! ☑ Worth the price - You'll get well over $1 USD / Hour here, expect 40+ hours of gameplay if you enjoy it and want to win multiple times / get all unlocks. ☐ If it's on sale ☐ If u have some spare money left ☐ Not recommended ☐ You could also just burn your money ---{ Bugs }--- ☑ Never heard of - Haven't seen any yet, or maybe I haven't noticed. ☐ Minor bugs ☐ Can get annoying ☐ ARK: Survival Evolved ☐ The game itself is a big terrarium for bugs ---{ ? / 10 }--- ☐ 1 ☐ 2 ☐ 3 ☐ 4 ☐ 5 ☐ 6 ☐ 7 ☑ 8 - I really like this game, it's not Cyberpunk 2077 but if you like roguelikes, city builder/management, and/or tower defense games you'll enjoy it. ☐ 9 ☐ 10 _____ If you: Hated Risk of Rain 2 because "It takes too much time to finish a run" Returned FTL because you died on your first 3 runs and couldn't figure it out Are not a fan of the Civilization series because it's too confusing and you hate the strategy of it Don't like games with "Pokemon graphics" Don't want your family to read science fiction because it's against your lord and savior jesus christ Hate Catan Returned Vampire Survivors because you got bored of "the grind" in your first 2 hours Hate Bloons Tower Defense Are Edgy and hate joy This is not your game, I'll save you the time and just let you know you'll hate this. ________ For those who enjoyed FTL and unlocked all of the ships, for those who like the strategy of a good RTS like Civilization and enjoy the challenge of planning and can handle the loss of an hour long game, for those who have played 2000+ hours of Warframe/WoW/Diablo and have any tolerance for what a grind actually feels like, here is your review: To start, I believe "early access" is a stretch here. I'm 12 hours in, I know for certain I have a long ways to go for unlocking the rest of the map, the majority of the units in the game, heroes, items, and I have barely began touching the surface on a majority of the challenges. All I have touched so far is the "Human" kingdom, there is a whole other kingdom with an entirely different map to try. I would not be surprised if there was 40+ hours of gameplay here if you try to 100%. While a lower price tag is good for indie games like this, I think it'd be a stretch arguing this is worth less than the current price. Just going by a standardized $1 USD / hour, if you play to complete the full game you'll exceed the target no problem and enjoy the time spent. A lot of the reviews posted talk about "grind". Anyone calling this a "grind" gets antsy at the barber shop because they're seated for too long, I'm not sure what they expected out of this but nothing about the grind is cruel. This is a roguelike; you are supposed to make some progress, try to win, fail at that, and go back to the beginning with a head start and some more tools under your belt. It's not "slow" grinding, this is a fairly standard roguelike and you'll see plenty of major jumps in your first 10 runs. Expect runs to start in the 30 minute range before you get overwhelmed, and get to the ~1 1/2 hour range if you're really taking your time and have a lot of unlocks/progress under your belt (serious runs with winning as an achievable goal). Expect to lose at all stages of the game even if you're well-off, expect the turn around to be quick when you restart because progress is usually very apparent here and makes early game a breeze. For the game itself, it is a somewhat unforgiving roguelike RTS in an inconspicuous package, and it feels great. The developer is incredibly driven and has an active online presence, and the game so far is already a masterclass in balance and design. As far as I could tell from regular play with no YouTube tutorials or speed run guides, nothing really feels inherently overpowered or cheap to use after 12 hours of playtime; there might be some combos that buff your characters very well, but I haven't had anything extreme come across my screen yet. If you enjoy management games, city builders, roguelikes like FTL and 9 Kings, and you are looking for a really unique challenge; this is your kind of game. Hope this helps.
It's a nutrient-void candy bar. It's grindslop. I am addicted to meta upgrades. That is almost the only reason I'm still playing. In hopes eventually I feel like I'm actually playing the game. If you like that, enjoy. - The writing is actual second grader level (not joking). - The UI is pretty bad for a tempo/resource game where info needs to be readily available on an easy-to-read field. - Much is explained poorly, plus badly communicated description. - Voice acting is weak enough to be funny - Often not clear which upgrades are permanent - Maybe my inexperience but some units are TRULY useless, like straight handicapped (jester) Please. Someone just make a similar game without making 90% of the attraction be mindlessly grinding upgrades and zoning out to the same content 200 times. Gaming is so screwed. Any time you find a decent similar game, devs can't resist making the game about grinding instead of giving you all the tools and letting you play, while also avoiding proper balancing by letting the grind handle it. I'm also annoyed because the store page ended up with both Roguelike and Roguelite tags, which are a clear contradiction in some standard definitions of these words. I didn't look closely enough to notice both and investigate, which might have stopped me from buying a rogueLITE. Are 70% of games just small amounts of content hidden behind grinds now?
Decent concept, but: 1) There are just way too many mechanics to keep up with and absorb, and at a certain point my brain just shuts off and doesn't care anymore to learn - it's just too much. 2) After you get a little momentum and unlocks going after a few runs, it all just becomes the same run. I feel the devs try to counter this by just cramming a ton of stuff to unlock and reveal but, now we're back to Point #1. It's just another absolute time-waster of a game that asks hours and hours of you to build a broad knowledge base of the game just to do hundreds of trivial things. I can't refund the freaking game either because it took 2 hours just to get a feel for what the core game loop was really going to be. Go find another time sink that respects the utterly unproductive brainpower it's asking you to put into it.

Ive played through 36 cycles as Human and 48 cycles as Undead and the game clearly has the design intent to implement up to 6 other playable kingdoms in time. I still have not completed the difficulty progression of curse levels and have had tons and tons of fun playing through the progression.
