Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 23 → 3.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Returning from a hunting trip to find your lands in ruin, you must rebuild your home while fending off hordes of monsters that attack your gates every night. Should your city fall and the forces of darkness sweep across the land, you will awaken to begin a new run where you carry forward the rewards of prior attempts – more heroes at your disposal, previously unexplored lands already uncovered, and every opportunity to push further as you uncover the mystery that has you trapped in a never-ending cycle of life and death.

As night falls, hordes of monsters emerge from the darkness in an attempt to destroy everything you’ve built, charging towards your gates and growing more vicious as the night draws on. Powerful bosses will test your defenses ruthlessly, and the only thing standing in their way is the collection of stalwart warriors, powerful creatures, and magical beings you’ve recruited to defend your lands.
Each run you may choose a different powerful guardian to lead your defenses, each with their own strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for unique strategies and growth through equipment and experience. Will your ice priestess freeze monsters in place for your crossbowmen and halfling to score easy shots from range, or will your knight charge into battle while a trebuchet flings rocks overhead?
Explore the world to meet over 50 unique units that you can recruit into your cause to find the best combinations – vampires guarding halfling slingers, dinosaurs charging ahead of genie spellcasters, or crossbowmen supporting brave men-at-arms? Seek them out in the world, using your hard-earned resources to hire them to your cause and upgrade their abilities, or wait for wandering warriors to appear, with each run offering different opportunities for recruitment.

Careful planning and strategic choice will define each run as you manage resources, troops, and the kingdom at large. With limited locations for buildings, and more options than you’ll have space for, prepare to make simple but difficult decisions with lasting impact.
Resource locations and availability are randomized with each run and you’ll need to make vital decisions on what to prioritize – quick access to raw materials is essential early on, but optimizing production chains is vital as time goes on.
Unlock more advanced methods of acquiring resources over time to free up your workforce, but make sure you prioritize what you need for your planned strategy – will you scale up your defenses by focusing on forestry and plank production to build trebuchets and catapults, or will you prioritize the acquisition of stone to build strong walls? Or perhaps you seek optimal gold production to more quickly afford upgrades for your most capable warriors?
As your heroes gather at the tavern to celebrate each night’s hard-fought victory, they grow stronger by eating the meals you have prepared. Build fishing huts, farms, mills, and more to feed your warriors and help them prepare for what lies beyond the walls!

Explore the world and uncover its secrets – from heroes and resources to quests, challenges, and more! The lands of Super Fantasy Kingdom are vibrant and alive, and you never know who or what you’ll find along the way. These elements mean that strategic choices for city building and combat will keep evolving and changing over time.
Earn enough glory in battle to gain access to more strategic options within your kingdom – the longer you survive the further you’ll be able to explore and the more opportunities available for the next run.
Your discoveries carry over to future cycles, unlocking entirely new starting options and strategic approaches that were previously several nights of battle away. These include powerful guardians, brave heroes, tricky relics, or even allies to help you out.
Super Fantasy Kingdom is designed for replayability with unpredictable opportunities and a variety of game-changing mechanics across worlds and kingdoms. Play endlessly with different strategies and approaches in a game that is easy to learn, but hard to master.

So, the game's concept is kinda a neat idea, but progressing your kingdom is kinda slow. It involves doing multiple runs and doing better than your last run. You'll eventually find a combination of heroes that work and just keep reusing them for other playthroughs. If you're an achievement hunter, I've found the achievements pretty straight forward and so far easy to obtain, almost feels a bit grindy though because of how the game is designed.
Decent concept, but: 1) There are just way too many mechanics to keep up with and absorb, and at a certain point my brain just shuts off and doesn't care anymore to learn - it's just too much. 2) After you get a little momentum and unlocks going after a few runs, it all just becomes the same run. I feel the devs try to counter this by just cramming a ton of stuff to unlock and reveal but, now we're back to Point #1. It's just another absolute time-waster of a game that asks hours and hours of you to build a broad knowledge base of the game just to do hundreds of trivial things. I can't refund the freaking game either because it took 2 hours just to get a feel for what the core game loop was really going to be. Go find another time sink that respects the utterly unproductive brainpower it's asking you to put into it.

Ive played through 36 cycles as Human and 48 cycles as Undead and the game clearly has the design intent to implement up to 6 other playable kingdoms in time. I still have not completed the difficulty progression of curse levels and have had tons and tons of fun playing through the progression.
Forcefeeding Dracula an endless supply of pumpkins every night to make that freak go Vegetarian.
If you want a comfy game or a deckbuilder, this isn't really it, but the game is pretty fun and even if you bounce off the grindiness you can still get quite a few hours, as my hours can attest. However, if you want to 'finish' the game, be prepared for an extremely long and grindy experience. For what it is, it's a fine purchase at its price point - the only main gripes I would have with it are some UI user-unfriendliness at places, my personal dislike of the (in this game necessary for permanent bonuses) achievement hunting which requires throwaway runs, a bit too much RNG and how much it commits to the painstaking grind once you're in the 'mid-game'. This is especially an issue given how painful the process of unlocking items, completing quests (for a whole 1% bonus!) 'observing' units and saving for the increasingly expensive world unlocks is. Still, I had a lot of fun, will probably play some more when I stop being frustrated at the new game + difficulty curve. Edit: OK 50 hours later having got to the end and looked it up fully now, I wasn't even aware JUST how bad the grind for 'finishing' this game is. I was motivated by the 'finish the game' achievement, but grinding out another 10-12 hours of runs at the second-to-last difficulty JUST to get the opportunity to grind out ANOTHER like 20 hours of runs at the max difficulty for BOTH factions is just insane. I get putting in optional difficult content in your indie game but this is WAY too far. My advice is to play the game until you get even slightly bored and ignore the story and final achievements, it is NOT worth it.
This game is painfully slow, you basically go through the same steps over and over again to get a bit further each time.
